Very rarely is a low budget movie made that's intended to be direct to video but instead becomes a smash hit. Swayze was in two, Dirty Dancing and Ghost, both of which were great largely because of him. Dirty Dancing IMHO is the ultimate date movie and one of the all time feel good movies. Ghost isn't far behind. Red Dawn and Road House have become cult classics that I can watch again and again. I can't count how many times I've watched the "be nice" speech on you tube. Point Break was also great although a lot of credit for that one has to go to Gary Busey and Keannu Reeves. Next of Kin was lesser known but also pretty good. Patrick Swayze left us too soon
Point Break is a power house movie all around. Roadhouse is a photo finish second. Red Dawn is third. All three are among the very finest films ever made. Ever. By anyone.
Youngblood is a cinematic masterpiece and state of art in the genre of sport movie but it’s a minor role for Swayze. Still, and very nearly stealing the entire movie, in Youngblood Swayze has one of the best lines in the history of cinema: “To them, you're just another wetback, crossing the border to play their game.”
Shout out to Steel Dawn.
Stay gold, Ponyboy, stay gold.
Second place goes to Donny Darko
Love. Fear.
seriously, youngblood was awesome, but outsiders, red danwn, roadhouse, point break, all good Swayze movies.
A Patrick Swayze Christmas - ( New Window )

Although not a movie, let's not forget this little gem.
Sadly, both gone before their time - ( New Window )
Shout out to Steel Dawn.
Steel Dawn? You mean Red Dawn?
I liked Ghost a lot. Yea I said it.
