NFT: Norwich City vs. Man City

FatMan in Charlotte : 9/14/2019 4:49 pm
In one of those - that's why they play the games moments - Norwich City, a recently promoted team with a couple key injuries, beat the defending champion Man City team.

And as much as I hate to say it, watching a match between two teams I care little about was much more entertaining than it has been to watch the Giants over the past few seasons.
Yeah - couldn’t watch but kept an eye

on my phone as it was such an upset. Great day for the home side and fans. I often watch games between teams I don’t root for if it’s good soccer. And, yeah, often beats watching the recent vintage Giants but that’s not saying much.
I watched

most of it. I thought Man City was going to come back and at least get the draw. Norwich hung in there though. A good match to watch.
I watched the second half...

City was rallying late. And it was a great atmosphere.

That Norwich goal early in the second half was huge to stop the momentum I thought City would have after Aguero scored late in the first half.

I happened to tape it, just because. I had seen Norwich in the first or second PL match round and they were playing strong vs one of the top of the table (can't remember), before conceding a late goal. I didn't feel like seeing a 'predictable' Liverpool (whom I like, their multi-cultural forwards play so well together) v Newcastle.

So, I figured, vs MC, what the hell. Now I've got a fall back to watch in case today is UGLY Game 2.

Also, speaking of Liverpool, last w/e I watched Euros Germany vs Netherlands qualifier, Germany having won the first leg in Amsterdam. This was a barn burner 2nd half, with blistering young forward for the Orange named Malen (had never seen him before) scoring a beauty of a goal to put the Dutch up 3-2 after they trailed 1-0 in 1H. Wijnaldum scored a 4th and Virgil was Virgil. Terrific game and result for the Dutch.
I should add about Germany:

Löw looks to have his team playing a phlegmatic, conventional, defensive, and unappealing brand of football. Maybe it was because he was looking to protect goal differential of the first leg. But the electric, attacking style of the Dutch (esp. once Malen came in) was like night and day and leads one to wonder how much longer Löw will keep his position.
Norwich was 20/1 to win before the match

so if you put $10 on them you would have won $200 + the bet

I figured from the title that if you didn't want to know a possible outcome - you probably shouldn't enter!

Sorry:)
assumption of the risk ha ha

just tweaking you, am happy we had the same thought...now, the dire question, which game do I wind up watching more of today?

They may suck at the back end for quite some time. Yeah!
I'm a Crystal Palace fan. In one weekend we went from 4th

to 12th. As Knicks and Giants fan, too, I feel entitled to some sort of reverse-trifecta prize for misery.
