And its going to be a long long time before the Giants are able to bet this train on the right track. This is a systemic problem. Its a lack of talent but even 10 times more important are system failures. Getting the right players fir the sytem. Understanding which players will help, which players fit. Right now this organization doesnt understand how to build a football team in this new era. The Giants are drafting 1980s style and managing the game the same way. This has been the case for at least the last 7 years. We dont understand who to compete in todays game. This problem is deeper than a few players. We are in for a long haul of losing and its only just begun. Strap in Giant fans, the 1960s were a cake walk

The center is protected so long as they have their head down. Defense can't line up over them or can't hit them while the center is protected. Most centers will raise their head after snapping the ball which they are no longer considered defenseless. The defense actually got its act together in the 3rd quarter, we got some pressure, some tips. Connelly is going to get rolled until he's up to speed, same with Lawrence, Baker, Ximines. The key is that we see steady game to game improvement from these guys. This isn't a good team, I've said it since camp, temper your hatred and just hang on, it's going to get worse until these guys have some NFL crust on them.
