I do t think we have the coaching staff to develop these players. Shurmur has yet to prove he is even capable of coaching at this level.

Shurmur and Bettcher are on a short leash....as of this moment, they are choking themselves.

Our GM traded our #1 WR and both our starting DE's and didn't replace them. And some how, only on BBI, people expected us to be good. We have the arguably the worst WRs and DEs in the NFL. That's not an opinion. That's a fact and it sucks.

Offensively we have 2 4th type WR's starting which one is playing with a injured ankle

Let's see how things look in a month. Besides there isn't going to be a housecleaning during the season.

Y'know, if you fire a GM and HC this soon after the last time you cleaned house, you're going to have a hard time getting a good GM and/or HC to join your organization. You want top talent, you have to treat people right.

They have been taking way to many gambles in the draft. Not getting the right guys in free agency. It's total failure in every level. Because they lack LB's they have tried to draft fatty's that get no pressure?? They ignored Line backers for so long now??? They move up and lose draft picks for a slow CB?? pass on Greedy, and Rock ya Sin?? Take a gamble on a DE from a small school in Xmines?? Passed on S. Miller? Nobody thought we were going to be good.

What we are seeing here isn't just "inexperience". We are seeing an inexperienced team that is also poorly coached.

They also clearly have no edge talent whatsoever.

when he was hired. It is evident now that he is not the HC for this team long term. If this team doesn't improve significantly and soon then this team needs to find a new coaching staff.

Look what they did in the free agency! They didn't pick up average player, they picked up to upcoming studs. They didn't mess around finding UFA or UDFA to fill the gaps?! They drafted well too. Got a solid CB in Alexander and Blake Martinez. They focused on their defense and made moves to improve it quickly. It can be done.. They Giants need to clean house period.
