Major Roster Overhaul is Inevitable

As of today are top on that list. Subject to change of course, but so far, neither one has shown me anything last year or so far this year.

enough talent and bad coaching. The defense put the Bills in scoring position twice with penalties, with a defense that bad they just can not afford to give teams more opportunities! Right now I don't see that defense helping to win any games.

of those players are only on the list because they were draft picks within the last 2 classes...other than that they haven't shown anything

He is basically a guy who should be an assistant. He and Reese worked well together because ones weakness was the others strength. Too bad they can’t bring Jerry back to find DBs and WRs

Tate forfeited any guarantee on his contract as he was suspended for the first 4 games this year. I believe I read that the Giants owe him nothing going forward.

I think the real question now is, how many roster overhauls are we going to endure before this team is competitive again?

At least some of you are going to figure out the same two brothers who chose this GM this HC this roster is going to choose the next ones too? Nothing will change until the Tisch family forces it to change. Maybe they can find a rogue Mara to sell them 1% and take over and hire football people to run the team.

The team is already in a major overhaul. It will get worse before it gets better. Everyone was clamouring for an overhaul and they are doing it, except Eli. There is no way any of these 1st or 2nd year guys get better if they can't play. It will be a tough year.

They lost a his talent but I was skeptical of him coming the of the draft. If he’s a great safety you don’t move him to LB. Was t a bust in Cleveland but these last two games he may not be the biggest problem back there but ive seen nothing to believe he’s any part of the solution.

Right now the only keepers would be the DL guys and Conally the LB. The rest seem to be JAGs at best. And DeAndre america is making the Eli Apple lick look good. Ponder that. Though the coaches must be telling him play off 15 yards. How uff only scored 15 is a good question. Must have been hot and they got tired.

old fashioned schemes need to be with an organization that wants/meeds losing seasons. giants need a young smart parcells type and their worst scouts in the league all need their walking papers, the maras are paying big bucks for pass rushers not much better than the mara daughters kate and rooney. i said it last year and i’ll say it again, today, lawrence taylor in his sandals, Hawaiian shirt and cigar would have produced more pressure and sacks than any bum on the current roster.....schumur etc. have over promised and under delivered beyond belief. 2-14, IF they get a couple late season garbage time wins, and only if opposing teams don’t suit up their cheerleaders.

From 1970-1985 the Giants were pathetic. As long as John Mara continues to meddle in the operations of this franchise we will continue to be a bottom feeder franchise. Even if we drafted super stars this team was not going to win many games. How can so many be so naive.

The D is pretty much exactly what you'd expect with a bunch of guys who haven't played in the NFL. Lawrence, Baker, Ballentine, Connolly, McIntosh, Beal, Ximenes, Love... these guys don't know how to play pro football yet. They'll learn. Some of them will improve, the others will be gone. Plus no pass rushers.

The O is worse than I expected, but with Tate, S Shepard and Latimer out, the D can key on Engram and Barkley and dare Eli to beat them with the other guys. And he pretty much can't. That may or may not be on him, but that's how it's playing out.

The "major roster overhaul" is already underway. This is what it looks like. Lots of very green young players who don't know how to be pros, never mind winning pros. There could be a similar influx of rookies in 2020. That would probably mean another start like this one. I could stomach that if I was sure the team was moving in the right direction. Right now, I'm not sure.
