Tbf from the Duke games I watched, DJ has had issues with this. Clemson game was awful (obv w/ that DL), but iirc it wasn't the only time. I def remember thinking it's funny both he & Eli are tall but still seem to have more of an issue than most (while guys like Brees or Wilson seem to manage better tho much shorter)

Jones is not Allen or Wentz. He is not the athlete those two guys are. Don't be mad; it's just fact. If you are expecting Jones to be the runner and pack the rocket launcher those guys have, you will be disappointed. Doesn't mean he won't be a good qb, it just means he will be a different qb.

I think he’s a good QB but he almost gave the game away and you still hear the Matty ice stuff a bit. He’s never gotten half the crap Eli has w a lot better talent around him.

Not saying HOF (tho the reg season numbers are hard to argue), but 2 of the last 3 yrs he's thrown 7 picks, never over 20, 4500yds & 65%+ comps all but 2 of the last 8 yrs, 3 seasons close to 70%. Eli has more than doubled the picks alone all but 3 yrs of his career (save yr 1). And while 2 SBs is nothing to sneeze at for Eli, acting like MR hasn't when he was less than a qtr from an SB W - nuts (and the epic comeback could hardly be blamed solely on him). Even last yr's down team yr (among other seasons), 35 & 7? Come on, that's pretty impeccable

Other than 2016 and maybe another season or two the guy seems painfully average to me.
No penalty can exceed half the distance to the goal, including personal fouls.
