My expectations were to enjoy Saquon Barkley this year and maybe see a little of Jones. Other than that, I want them to lose enough to have great position in the 2020 draft for DG to finish this rebuild the right way, which, so far, I think he's doing it pretty well.

Thanks for showing me there is still hope for this fanbase
Is Mike Singletary. I’m personally tired of Coordinator coaches. A H.C. is supposed to be a leader of men and a culture builder. I think Singletary’s form of disciplinarianism may be big

You think he's rebuilding pretty well? On what grounds? The fact that he's managing to once again have great draft position?
And as dynamic a playmaker as Barkley can be, there was nothing enjoyable about his performance today. This, after a lot of resources were spent trying to bolster the offensive line to improve the rushing attack.

Singletary strikes me as a little too old-school. The league and it's players are ever-changing and I just imagine he's a little behind the curve at this point. I think we need a new-school McVay-type guy (and not necessarily young per se, Doug Pederson is older and I still consider him new school). Someone who can bring some liveliness and innovation to this team, someone with their finger on the pulse of the modern day NFL and knows what it takes to win in today's league. Same goes for the GM (and especially so for the GM). Gettleman is a dinosaur who doesn't even believe in analytics. I mean I certainly don't think analytics should be everything, but to completely scoff at it and make fun of it and make every decision with your "gut" is ignorance that is bound to lead to failure.
Sure, he did such a great job as a head coach the Giants should bring Â
At season's end, I wonder what top tier HC candidates would be willing to work for a team with a top 3 pick that they're unwilling to use to acquire the QB he covets for his offense? Because there's no way Mara pulls an Arizona and allows that.

He's put emphasis on the trenches and defense and I believe that's the right track. The OL was improved to better protect the passer. They actually were a pretty good run-blocking team towards the second half of last year.
Zeitler is probably the best pass-pro OG in the NFL.
If you remember Eli under McAdoo, even with a healthy OBJ, this offense is better than that abomination.
Give him a blank check and let him hire a GM he would want to work with. Have it be like the power structure in Seattle. Hopefully he is sick of the recruitment slog and ready to come back to where he belongs, in the NFL.

Maras would not let that happen. Although he would be a good choice.

It’s not happening - he literally has wanted to be Michigan’s head coach since he was a kid.
Joe Moorhead is the college coach that the Giants should look at - he was the OC at Penn State when Barkley was there and his offense would work well with Jones. Plus Moorhead has NY ties, he was HC at Fordham.

As much as I think he would turn this franchise around, he wouldn't even get the consideration IMO.

Call me crazy, but I don’t think the Giants are going to hire the head coach of Mississippi State.
Never happen though.

Schwartz is like Shumur a good coordinator who shouldn't have been promoted beyond that level.

Worst he can do is say no.
There are worse ideas...

Jim Schwartz though - ugh.
