We have a lot of young players, who knows how they will pan out, but if Jones hits (big if), combining him with Barkley in the future is a good starting point. the last 2-3 years of TC's tenure, he flat out sucked as a coach. Moving on from him was much needed, the problem was hiring MacAdoo, and then Shurmur. Was Reese to blame for the MacAdoo hire? I still think that was on Mara.
I will give Mara credit for sticking with TC after 2006 when many wanted TC fired back then. The Giants went on to win two Super Bowls, and Reese was a major part of that as well. Big time Giants fans should be thankful for that.
