After watching the Giants in the first two games it is apparent that they are not a good team.
They are a young team that will take some time to improve.
The Giants may win some games but I doubt more than (5)
The only reason not to play DJ is if he is not ready.
The Giants have to verify that Daniel Jones is the heir apparent. If he is, then the the wins and loses will be secondary and the season will be a success.
The Giants cannot come away from this season without knowing what Daniel Jones is as a QB.
It is even possible that the Giants may lose more games with DJ then with Eli but that hardly matters any more.
It is also possible that DJ wins some games that Eli would not.
I admire Eli, but, I cannot watch an offense that is constantly good enough to lose. Eli does not have the consistency to maintain long drives. If Barkley is taken away by the defense there is not offense.
It's always refreshing to read an original thread.
Thank you, THANK YOU!... for the much needed insight that the other 12 threads couldn't address.
I would wait another month. Let him participate in practice part of the time with the first team. Play in games during garbage time.
If he gets beat up and plays poorly it will shake his confidence.
