Anyone giving up our 1st for Ramsey?

Couchy : 9/16/2019 10:38 pm
Picture it, trade our 1st for Ramsey. He fixes our defence, start Jones next week, Tate back week 4, finish 8-8. Who says no? One can dream, right?
No team

to fix the defense is a bit delusional.
Pass
Torrag : 9/16/2019 10:41 pm : link
He's a headcase, a me player and not worth the inevitable slew of distractions he'll cause.
Do you really want to give up a top 5 pick?
Blue The Dog : 9/16/2019 10:45 pm : link
Because I don't, and I love Ramsey. But if you think adding Ramsey and Tate to this team makes us that much better that we can finish 8-8, then you are delusional enough to work in current front office.
he sounds like a talented man of integrity

Hell No!!!

We’re going to have to pay a shit ton too, and he’s pain to deal with. Anyways are first rd pick is reserved for Chase Young, our defensive savior

Gettleman has killed it with our last two drafts.

So if you drink that Kool Aid, the answer to the OP's question is no because Gettleman will find a better player.

Exactly. These guys are finally having fun now that the divas aren't distracting them and they can concentrate on football and banging whores.

I’m not sure anyone would argue that last years draft was strong, an 0-2 start doesn’t change that. With regards to this years draft the early returns were all positive, again..two games doesn’t prove or disprove anything with regards to how well the Giants did in the 2019 draft.

Barkley is great.

After that? I don't think it's that great. Yet.

It would have been better if they dealt the #2 last year and gotten Chubb and Lamar. No?

Barkley is amazing, but if we could have made a deal with Denver last year, I think that would’ve been better. But oh well, all in on Jones and Barkley now
Guess tongue in cheek comments don’t translate well on here
Couchy : 9/16/2019 11:02 pm : link
Judging by some of these replies haha

But seeing as some of you took it quite so literal who would actually say no to that scenario?

Ramsey, Tate and Jones come into this team and we finish 8-8. Meaning we got Ramsey for a pick in the 15-20 range? You’d have to be very silly to say no to that.

Now that’s something I can get behind
I think his play fell off last year..
chuckydee9 : 9/16/2019 11:24 pm : link
Plus we'd have to pay him.. and then we would have to trade him cause he talks a lot and is not a "cultured" guy... then we would have to eat another 16M+ just so we have cap space in 2022..

Just so people remember who we traded away.. the guy Jalen Ramsey.. shut down Hopkins this weekend.. we traded away that guy that beat him multiple times and Ramsey had help on some of those plays.. at least 2 were for TD but our QB didn't get the ball there..
Considering it will be a top 3,

How many different positions on D do you have Ramsey playing that has them finishing 8-8? Or in that scenario, do the Eagles and Cowboys teams both die horribly in some plane crash?

some of you just are not happy unless you are unhappy. The way you all are acting towards draft picks after two games is comical..

Strahan missed most of his tookie season as did Justin Tuck. Corey Webster took a couple of years to get it together. Tiki Barber was a part time guy for his first few seasons. Amani Toomer did next to motjing his first few seasons.

Baker will be fine and Ballentine will soon be contributing on defense. Lawrence is developing and will be fine. Jones hasn't even stepped on the field yet. Hernandez started from game 1 last year, Barkley is a stud, BJ Hill starter, McIntosh just getting his first full seadon going etc... The last two drafts have been pretty good for us. Once Jones plays things will feel a lot different because we will have turned the page and begun the rebuild..

The last two drafts have been pretty good on what grounds?

On one hand you say it's too early, and on the other you've declared this draft 'pretty good'.

If you like rose colored glasses, that's fine - optimism is great. But don't go around bitching about complaints when the team has played like hot garbage for years on end. If you're entitled to baseless optimism, then others are entitled to complain about a team that once again might not be playing meaningful football in October.

At not wanting Ramsey because he talks.

Culture is really going a long way this year.
So we've resorted to "dreaming" of going 8-8

It would be the first time in NFL history that a player demanded to be traded on back-to-back weeks.
