If he does this it would be outstanding. However I worry that if he is hitting 70% completions it will be through checkdowns. Bucs will blitz a lot, and disguise coverages a lot to confuse him (like with any rookie). It takes time to figure these things out in a live game. People need to be patient

roll outs, and an occasional shot deep. I believe they will do everything they can to ensure Jones having success in his first game. Now, the bigger issue is the defense, can they stop a mediocre, at best, Winston.

Know what to expect I just hope he really is a franchise QB because if he isn’t we’re truly screwed.

Well for one Jones' ability to extend plays could put a lot of pressure on the mid to deep middle.

You are correct, but wildly speculative conspiracy theories are the soup of the day. I would not try to defend that position for a moment though. I said it feels true. If I thought it fact I would not have used the word feel. :) Things that feel true are often wrong.

I said this in another thread and got killed for it. If they run the ball through Saquon and look competent I think it'll be safe to say thats what happened.

A decent 12 of 20 for about 200 yards and at least 1 TD and 1 INT. I also predict a new energy on the field on both Offense and Defense. The same kind of enthusiasm we saw in the pre-season will carry over on Sunday.

Lots of Barkley running game and passing. Expecting Engram to have huge part in this offense from now on. Also some DJ. Keep our D off the damn field. Shurmur needs to keep Barkley in the game. Not on damn sidelines.

Jones will be able to extend a few plays which will result in a few more first downs. Which will lead to a few more opportunities on TBs side of the field. I expect us to score the most points we've scored this year, which isn't saying much, but its an improvement. However, these WRs still can't get any separation.

212 yds, 2 int, 2 TD (1 is rushing).

Does enough for us to have hope.
