to counter TB's defense crashing the edges to keep Saquon from getting outside. Short passes off RPO fakes should give him some easier completions early. Hopefully they can build on that and take shots downfield.

That's right, it's a new era, so it's exciting to see it get started.

Hopefully, Jones legs will keep them on the field long enough so the Bucs can't score as much.

If he does this it would be outstanding. However I worry that if he is hitting 70% completions it will be through checkdowns. Bucs will blitz a lot, and disguise coverages a lot to confuse him (like with any rookie). It takes time to figure these things out in a live game. People need to be patient

roll outs, and an occasional shot deep. I believe they will do everything they can to ensure Jones having success in his first game. Now, the bigger issue is the defense, can they stop a mediocre, at best, Winston.

Know what to expect I just hope he really is a franchise QB because if he isn’t we’re truly screwed.

Well for one Jones' ability to extend plays could put a lot of pressure on the mid to deep middle.
