He was such a disaster as his father's OC at UVA 15 years ago. Totally in over his head. Have to give him a ton of credit for having the humility to go from an OC to a graduate assistant in order to have the opportunity to learn from the dark master, Nick Saban.

As already mentioned, do everything to entice him back here. He is motivated by challenges and turning this franchise around with a promising QB and an incredible RB specifically should be challenging enough. He doesn't seem to be wanting to retire anytime soon so give him a 3-5 year contract and give him control. That means firing both Pat Schurmur and Dave Gettleman and giving all the authority they had to Bill. It's still unlikely to happen at this point but there is still a chance for sure.

but they missed that opportunity. Not sure who I would want at this point but IMO it's not very likely that Shurmur is replaced after the season anyway.

Someone who can judge talent and is very good at identifying coaching talent. I felt the big difference between Parcells and Coughlin was the former's ability to put great staffs together consistently.

OC at Penn State when Barkley was there, now HC at Miss State.

If you want someone who knows how best to use Barkley he’s your guy.
