Which NFC title game and SB play did you like better?
Favorite regular season game for me is probably @ Philly 06 or @ Dallas 2011. Tough to choose between the 2 but I'll go Dallas because of the playoff implications.
While the GB title game was the stuff of legend because of the weather, I prefer his performance against the SF defense in that swamp of a field and with the beating he took. I also think those 49ers were better than the Packers were in 07.
I'm probably in the minority but I like the throw to Manningham over the throw to Tyree in the SB. The Tyree play was magical chaos. The throw to MM was as difficult, from a pure skill level, as it gets.
First ever win vs Dallas 2004
@ New England '11
Post Season: 2007 at Green Bay. Eli to Plax
SB - Both were amazing
Giants comeback from 17 down - ( New Window )
2011- @Dallas
2011- vs Dallas
This one is a gem of mine because NO Philly fans seem to remember that game. Odd. Selective memory?
Yet they remember exactly which horse farm they went to go eat shit in celebration over the DeSean Jackson game.
What a game...
I was there. I've been to over 60 Giants home games. The crowd was so into it that day unlike no other I went to. It was nice to see the Giants take it to a formidable Baltimore opponent.
Eli has more wins in Foxboro versus Tom Brady (one) than Ben Roethlisberger and Philip Rivers combined.
San Diego 2005. I don't think the Giants defense even touched Ladian Tomlinson that game.
I remember the highlights from that game on NFLN. They had audio of Pope telling Ballard to just run and get ready for the ball on his shoulder, not to worry, the QB would make sure it's there.
And sure enough, that's exactly what happened.

They didn't win that last game I listed, but the Charger fans and that entire city were killing Eli and he played great. It told me a lot about him as a mentally tough guy.

san diego 2005 is up there for me as well. i dont remember many details, just that at one point he converted like 4 3rd and longs in a row..
There are a lot of standout games if one actually took the time to delve into it
Aside from the Super Bowls, no game will ever top the 2011 NFCC game. All time classic Eli, incredible game, and it took a year off my life I'm sure.
Man. I am going to miss Eli.
'06 Eagles
A lot of other great wins but those 2 stand out the most.
Those two and the beating he took against the niners..
Philly 06
Pats 11
Dallas 09, first win at Jerryworld
Post season: Super Bowls, NFC championship 2007, NFC championship 2011.
Good call on the San Diego game. Absolutely brutal atmosphere, and the charger defense wanted to kill the at a little more than usual that day. Also, no Burress for the first quarter for disciplinary reasons.
I remember in the first quarter I believe, Eli had missed a couple of throws and the stadium was just rocking. Theisman (Sunday night game) said, "I really think this place is starting to get to Eli".
Just as he finished saying that Manning hit Tim Carter over the top for 45 yards. Theisman said, "Well, maybe not."

Forgot about the 08 Steelers game, another slugfest.

That game was incredible. I remember it every time someone tries to claim Big Ben was the better QB. He wasn’t. That game showed why.
