First game is tonight on MSG at 7:00 PM. We play New Jersey, but they decided not to play Jack Hughes because he's obviously terrified of Kakko embarrassing him. :)
We're going to be seeing the NHL debuts of Kakko, Kravtsov, Shesterkin, and Fox, and the Rangers debuts of Panarin and Trouba. So buckle up because it's going to be a fun ride!
Our projected lines for tonight's game:
PANARIN | ZIBANEJAD (A) | KAKKO
KREIDER (A) | ANDERSSON | KRAVTSOV
MCKEGG | O'REGAN | JONES
HALEY | NIEVES | ELMER
LD | RD
SKJEI | TROUBA
HAJEK | FOX
CRAWLEY | SMITH (A)
In Goal: Georgiev gets the start and Shesterkin is his backup and will see some time in net.
I'm excited and I hope you are too!
Looking forward to some Rangers hockey. Young, exciting team.
Call me crazy, but I think we have a great shot at the playoffs
I'm hoping to see the kids develop so next year, the "next wave" can be integrated into the new core.
Agreed. If we're in the hunt and Chytil, Lias and Howden don't step up, I could see us trading for a 2C
If one finds a stream, can it be shared or does that go against the grain somehow, endangering the stream source?

to see if I can find a stream somewhere. I know it's just the first preseason game, but with the five big newcomers playing in this one (Kakko, Panarin, Fox, Trouba, Kravtsov) it's a must-see. I think when you subscribe to the Center Ice package preseason games should be included.

First Row Sports is usually reliable
NBA has been well aware of this for yrs, they are the first to shut it down :(
But still in many cases if you bookmark the homepage of the video pages once there, you can get to them regardless
Maybe. More than him, I only watched his first intro segment going into 1st intermission - thought Trautwig looked & sounded awful. I dunno if anything happened health-wise, hope not, but man oh man if not

Is it me or does it sound like Sam Rosen is slurring his words a bit and speaking oddly slow?

Trautwig's teeth are downright scary

Al's teeth looked terrible, then he didn't exactly look good aside from that. I hope he's okay.
Now of course it seems a ton more talent on ice, be it obvious like Zibby, or new like Panarin or Trouba, or now a Kakko...that before any others show development or just are new / fringe guys that produce (was it McKegg today? Guy was everywhere when I was watching). Puck was moving, possession seemed improved even if the D still needs work, encouraging enough by eye test
If nothing else, fun enough game to watch for preseason, good that hockey is back here soon!
Ya they talked up Gusev, and he didn't disappoint. Also NJD's 2nd or 3rd goal, forget the guy's name, but after an AWFUL NYR back pass he had that sick stick move and tucked it in just past the goalie's skate...pretty goal
ya in a real game I'd be pissed. Schneider was basically standing on his head there (big on NYR PPs too). End 2 NYR had ~30 SOG but not so many goals. Obviously yalls were missing half the team but for NYR that's nice to see...winning the SOG battle, solid puck movement, nice for PSG1
Liked what I saw from Lias and look forward to seeing even more from Fil.
Good scoop

RFA Tony DeAngelo has agreed to terms with #NYR on a one-year deal worth $925,000 - same amount that Brendan Lemieux got last week.
