Anyone think Eli could be a GM one day for GMEN?

Curious what folks think...
With his calm demeanor and smarts,

I think he’d make an excellent color commentator as laid back and boring as many think he is.
GM?

I'm not sure how you can determine that now. He's smart but that doesn't mean that he knows how to evaluate talent and build a roster.
Too much work...

at too much of a paycut. He'll be doing foundation/charity work, commercials, and maybe some media work.
I think his interest is the Manning interest- Owning a team

I believe I read that Archie, Peyton & Eli would love to own an NFL franchise one day. So unless Mara & Tisch sell the Giants to them, I don't think Eli would be our GM.

However, stranger things have happened.

I can confidently say we will never, ever see Eli in a coaching,GM or front office role.

He has a well-deserved retirement ahead of him whenever he decides to hang 'em up.
he will be too busy...

having money fights w peyton.
I bet
crackerjack465 : 9/18/2019 11:59 am : link
he gets a group of investors together and him/peyton/archie become majority owners of a franchise

He's also involved in a lot of non-profits, could just stick with that.
Yes.

When he gets tired of not getting blamed for every single bad thing that has ever happened to the Giants.
I think Eli is going to enjoy his retirement.

Could see him doing some very light TV work locally covering the Giants. Something like co-hosting with Bob Papa on one of those MSG shows on the Giants.

he’s going to be a family man for a long time I’m guessing. Being a GM is a full time round the clock job that never ends. Can’t see someone as successful and rich as Eli wanting anything to do with being a GM.

Would he be good at it? No idea.

Agreed. I really think he’s one of those guys who will be happy when he leaves football behind. I’m sure he’ll get media offers...but I wonder if he’ll even be into that too much.

He isn't becoming a GM, but he has a wife. No way she lets him sit around and do nothing.
At the rate we are going
