but I think he's going to ride it out. Also, the way Eli has handled the demotion and helping Jones just continues to show he's a class act. What qb with Eli's status or higher would accept the demotion and help the young gun. Big Ben sure as hell would throw a fit, Favre too, Brady would cry to Kraft. I know things could change, but I doubt Eli is going to be a distraction

I think he made it pretty clear that this is his choice. He wants to be here and, if he's here, he wants to do what he does.

I think people want him physically gone for their own sakes, not his or the team's.

Manning stated he would do it the same in hindsight. I don't know if he was specifically asked that or offered that. If he offered it on his own I think that is worth a lot. I think he loves the NY Giants and would rather run the scout team this year than go someplace else.

There have been no indications that this was handled any less than respectfully. This is not a redux of Geno Smith. And fans are not outraged because Jones was drafted specifically to start for the Giants.

How fucked up this organization is right now, and he knows how bad this team is right now, he is just all class, something that id foreign in todays society, and something that is not looked at as a great quality in this society. Imagine if this was Beckham!!!
