Almost certainly CC's last start at the stadium.
100 wins clinches the ALE
G is back
Let's go, Yanks.
Joe DiMaggio 46 (1937)
Juan Gonzalez 43 (1992)
Alex Rodriguez 42 (1998)
Boog Powell 39 (1964)
Gleyber Torres 38 (2019)

All these guys won multiple MVPs except for Boog, who only won one. (He did finish 2nd and 3rd in other seasons.)

Torres is impressive no doubt. I just want him to stay healthy at this point.
Just doo this stuff. Win and in!
No way....in his ear!
Next time up that guy is eating dirt
(Or at least I hope that'll be the reason... given how this year has gone, eesh)
...weak attempt by DJ on that grounder by Calhoun.
Let's get the big fella through 5 and set up for a W.
Yeah that was pretty weak, and it calls for getting drilled. CC's last start at the Stadium and you do that on the first pitch? Someone needs to clue that young man in.
Agreed.
Nice laser by Stanton. Welcome back.
1-0
I hope he gets an opportunity to help us in October.

I do, too. Heart rending welcome for him coming out.
Judge with an oppo-laser.
2-2
As Judge removes CC from losing the game...2-2
Yup... 12 HRs in his last 26 games including tonight's blast. Awesome take.
That man, and Judge more often than i'd like to see, sure do like to watch stirke 3 go by.

crappy at bats. Swinging at shit and looking at good one. Not sure where his head is at.

He's been looking at strikes and swinging at balls the last week to ten days.
Last 7 days - ( New Window )
Quite.

Probably not the smartest thing to link since it was easy to just see that over his last 30 games his OPS is 1.034.
section125 has a hard on for Judge. He’s been ripping his every ab for 2 seasons now. Every single time Judge strikesout, section comments about his shitty abs. It’s seemingly gone unnoticed because nobody has ever mentioned it, but he treats Judge like he’s a useless fringe bench player on a nightly basis.
German hasn't commanded the ball well tonight - especially his FB.
Pujols getting a stolen base without a throw should never happen. But it did.
I'm a bit surprised German is out already. I guess the transition to the pen and the post-season role is in full swing.
3-2
Ottavino doing his part, too.
