Trying to think...

like an opposing defensive player.
How quickly as a play breaks down knowing that the player with the ball (Eli) can NEVER beat you with his legs can you be aggressive and leave your assignment?
Knowing that he is never going to extend the play with his mobility and not afraid of getting beat over the top? When you begin to limit the things I have to worry about it makes the game a whole lot easier and much more fun. There is 15 years of tape on 1 and virtually none one the other. Who would you rather play against?
When is the last time we seen Eli trade getting crunched for a 3rd down conversion? Self preservation becomes more important as one ages.

football forum and not a grammar forum. And, I do think you said the same thing 4 times. However, I will agree that Eli was way too quick to give himself up and for the last 5 years he was never beating you with his legs. Not sure how instinct plays in for a defensive player during a game and you make the same move regardless of the opponent.

You can only hurt the ball club.

Brady

He has a coach who calls plays that isolates his best receiver Edelman against a MLB. He called the same damn play 3 times in a row in the lone TD drive in the SB.

Its basically a 4 go route which we know wco weenie Shermer would never call.
