NFT: Amazon Firestick / Kodi users

LawrenceTaylor56 : 9/21/2019 11:55 am
I'm heading out to buy a Firestick here shortly. From what I understand there's quite a few ways to be able to get streams on there. Can anyone recommend any good sports or even movies apps to load onto Kodi?

And also, will the $40 Firestick be good enough to stream on? Thanks in advance.

I use Morpheus. I did have my cousin load it for me, I'm useless with that stuff.

but the new ones should be just same or better? I use kodi for NFL Network, MLB Network, espn etc and it works great 99% of the time.

They will tell you exactly what and how to get whatever you need. Also you should look into a vpn as well
Just my opinion (based on experience),

but I found Kodi to be garbage. Poor usability, terrible performance. You can easily waste 15 minutes getting absolutely nowhere in that app.

After a few searches on Google and YouTube, found a ton of different instructions. Anyone have a good link for step by step instructions to load kodiak and all the links to watch TV, movies and sports?

My advice is to follow troypoint
jhibb : 9/22/2019 1:05 am : link
and sign up for his weekly email newsletter. Whenever one service goes down or stops getting supported (and they all do eventually) he lets you know the best alternatives.

And his guides for setting things up are really clear and well done.

I still have an old firestick and it works fine though. Clicking through menus goes a bit slow but the streams are great.

I used the pigskin add on from the man cave repo last week and it worked perfectly.

The link that Charlito put up is the one to use for sports. It can be a little difficult at times though but works pretty well

Just bought it and testing out different kodi builds. Glad I cut the cord on DirecTV, still get to watch everything I did before.

Jay, a VPN takes your Internet connection and makes it more secure, helps you stay anonymous and helps you get around blocks and access censored sites.

With Kodi it's an open source operating system that people can use to expose your info. VPN assigns you a temp IP address each time you use it
