NFT: Two NYC questions

Steve L : 10/8/2019 10:45 pm
Heading to the city next week.

1. Good pizza near WTC? And donít say Sbarro & #128513;

2. Going to a concert at MSG. Is there a museum of sorts in the garden that shows the history and stuff that has happened there?

Thanks.
For pizza, probably Steveís on Trinity Place.

And they have a lot of stuff hanging on the walls all over the concourse. Example. Theres a huge display for the uconn syracuse 6 OT game. Some artifacts from the game. Game jersey, tie worn by Boeheim, score sheet. Pics. Stuff like that.

They have stuff like that there.
SAP sponsored a ďDefining MomentsĒ exhibit a few years back.

but I always enjoyed Adrienne's pizza bar on Stone (and there's other places nearby as well as bars). There's a Keste over on Gold street right off of Fulton that's not too bad either.
MSG

I think they do tours during the day but not sure. As someone previously said in the 100 level concourse they have tons of memorabilia on the wall. Definitely worth walking around. I'd also suggest walking the perimeter of the Chase bridge. They did an incredible job with the reno.
both correct answers

...if interested in Italian food in addition to pizza. They have pizza but not the typical circular NYC type.

Small place, in and out. Decent pizza. Don't go to Big Al's!

There's a Joe's on Fulton now across Broadway. If you're just grabbing a slice, it's still the best slice pound for pound to me in the city.

Oddly enough, Eataly downtown has a lot of great food but for the most part, lousy pizza. I got some focaccia from there a few weeks back and it tasted like it should have Pepperidge Farm written on the label.
If only

I could find the worst of NYC pizza here in LA. I'm having withdrawals already from my last trip.
Eataly's

prime rib sandwich is really good.

If you just want a slice, you could do worse than just going to MSG and get the slice at Don Pepi in penn station. Can even get some wings first from Kabooz.
Keste on Wall Street is good pizza.
Anando : 10/9/2019 5:54 pm : link
Or Eataly as mentioned previously
