He's also hitched his wagon to Bethea for God knows what reason. No excuse for Love not to be out there. At least he belongs on the field athletically.
I'm glad he went over Haley and the zero adjustments, it was glaring Â
said they made no adjustments just played better. Reality is was both offenses went more conservative and as long as we aren't starting Stupar and Mayo should be solid against the run.
I think the D will improve when the young guys improve, Â
especially Baker, Lawrence, Ximenes, Love, Carter, McIntosh, even Beal. Tomlinson seems to have a low ceiling but could still have a breakthrough. Hill is good but could be better. That’s a lot of youth. Peppers is improving so that’s a positive.
Everyone of them made significant mistakes. Haley and Bethea don’t have the speed to play in the NFL. Peppers makes some good plays but then has awful moments.
The one thing I did find encouraging is that Halapio actually can be seen playing well. He has also makes mistakes but it looks to be mental and something that could get better with experience.
Solder: I am concerned that he is aging and losing the athleticism to play in the league against top shelf DLs. A lot of the time, it looks like he is simply physically overmatched.
Stupar doesn’t belong in the league. I am 100% certain that there are LBs on other teams practice squads that can play at least at a mediocre level and better than Stupar. This is a legit beef with DG and Abrams - they can’t let this situation continue and need to find an upgrade over Stupar.
Could be your “end of year” prediction, is a bit conservative
He sure does. I really like his delivery
And I agree he does a great job. His delivery is the anti-Baldy
...we have one FOOKED up secondary.
And Peppers -- despite his obvious athleticism -- looks like he's playing football for the very first time.
Giants have so many issues it's really hard to know where to begin.
But at least Daniel Jones looks like a keeper.
BBIers will need at least 3 more years of patience. That is, 3 years after Mara rids the team of it current coaching staff.
