Seriously. This team is completely outclassed personnel-wise tonight and played the unbeaten, defending Super Bowl champs to a stale-mate for 3 quarters. The mistakes that have cost them were all on the players...fumbles, not finishing routes, bad decision with the football, horrible penalties (Janoris Jenkins with the hold on 4th and 7 was atrocious).

The fact that you ignore the reality of where this team is at tonight is mind boggling. Looking at this game and saying Shurm isn’t the game is a stretch at best. This team had NO offensive weapons and were fortunate to be in the game at all. Injuries are a fact of the game but missing the #1 & 2 RB, #1 TE who’s the best receiving threat, and best WR are challenges nobody is overcoming against the best team in the league in their house.
The defense played much much better but how much impact does Schumer even have there? The offense (short handed) and special teams gave this game to pats and Schumer sealed it with curious decisions in second half.

This team has 5 TOs and was in good positions sans that last drive. They came to play very shorthanded and made it a game.
