always we get no separation against virtually any team we play......when our secondary is on the field....why would any offense run the ball?
We play some kind of loose cheesy zone that inevitably is picked apart.
They find gaping holes in our zone, we have corners playing too far off the ball, we don't display ball skills.
Is this a talent issue or a coaching problem?
When the Patriots got their arms on someone they got them to the ground. The Giants simply can’t get guys on the ground when they should.
Our receivers are definitely lacking talent, especially without our top 3 weapons on the field.
On defense, the pass rush is pedestrian and the LB's/Bethea are liabilities in coverage. Also, first few weeks there was way too much soft zone which made 0 sense considering Jenkins/Baker are guys whose strength is man to man.
In my opinion, out of every player in the secondary, Peppers is the last guy that I would criticize. The last 3 games he has been really good. Him, Golden, and Lawrence have easily been the 3 best players on defense this year (not including Connelly)
It's nice that he made a hustle play to force a fumble last week, but that's about the extent of his positive contributions.
Hell, I doubt Coughlin was approaching that level of coaching and he was a good coach.

Peppers needs to breakdown when he gets there, its the first fucking thing they teach you on the first day of pop warner
