I blame Jebril's position coach and other DB coaches..

NYRiese : 10/11/2019 12:23 am
the secondary wiffs on far too many tackles. Tackles that would stop 3rd down completions.
The coaches are responsible for coaching these players up. So far all I can see is being coached down...there is no discernible improvement in the secondary tackling.
There is no development aka improvement in the tackling by the secondary players...some people should be relieved of there duties. A better more inspirational teacher is required. DBs have too learn how to breakdownbefore they go glyingby the opponent with an arm tackle that fails.
Haley tackled just fine

It's on the players to make tackles. You don't think they know how?
Peppers has to learn how to play under control
Vanzetti : 10/11/2019 12:41 am : link
Tonight he needed to slow down and set himself to make the tackle. He had five yards to play with.

Instead, he raced in completely out of control looking for the big hit and the guy went right by him.

He has done this again and again. Takes himself out of plays by not staying under control.

I think he has talent but right now he is not a very good safety.
Yes clearly

the players should have cover for completely not doing their jobs because obviously NFL coaches were remiss in telling them how to make a basic tackle. Got it.
Lack of tackling

is a league-wide epidemic and has been for a few years
How many whiffs did the Pats make?

The best coaches get in players' heads and change their thinking. Better thinking leads to better execution.

All the ability to practice tackling has been removed and the players speed and agility in the open feild continues to rise. Bad combination
Being bad in space is just part of his game

I’m not sure how coachable that is. I feel that is an instinct you either have or you don’t, like a CF who knows where the ball will land the moment it comes off the bat.

Its bad in College Football too. Even good defenses like Florida. Which is carrying over to the Pro game.

is a product of limited practice time and padded practices.
They need to go back
