Missed the Tate TD

HoustonGiant : 10/11/2019 12:52 pm
Did DJ make any changes? I can't find a clip with the presnap footage.

I'm asking because I want to see if that was the play call, or if he read the single-high safety and switched into.

Either way, he got one on the Pats.
am i the only one who didn't like

GT walking backwards into the end zone?

nice juggling catch and run, but not impressed by him so far. seems very small, gets very little separation, and idk, kinda seemed like he didn't really fight for the contested catches as much as i'd expect

You are not alone - douche move.
And they were down 14-0

Couldn't seperate

Did not fight enough on the 50/50 balls

Put team in tough spot with suspension

The bar is set at making believe you're a dog pissing on the field.

I was actually OK with it. It wasn't over the top.
Also, he didn't get one by the Pats...

...he got lucky - that was GREAT coverage and the CB got a hand on it - the ball was bouncing, juggled before Tate got a hold of it - was a great throw as it had a low likelihood of interception, but throw it 10 more times, you're looking at 10 incompletions.
It was a great throw

Right on the money, it was also very, very good coverage. And Tate did well to stay with the play and make the catch.

It’s possible for everyone to do their job on a play, that was one example. I guess you can say the defensive back did 99% of his job.
It was a great catch.

The Patriot defender got a hand on the ball. It bounced up and Tate stayed with it the whole way and pulled it in as the defender went down. Anyone complaining about that catch is......
you guys are brutal

Tate didn't "moonwalk" or showboat at all. He walked in backwards after the only guy near him dove to the ground. He dropped the ball and waited for teammates to arrive. It was a really tame TD celebration. He's not a hotdog.
Not bothered by his backwards walk in

All WR do dumb stuff. Big signals for first downs, dumb celebrations, always looking for flags, so what is wrong with this? It was a nice catch. He stayed with the ball and scored a 64 yard td. Some of you ladies are never happy

This is the most ridiculous take I think I've ever heard. You aren't even allowed to do what he did in HS football. Tate has a whole highlight reel of showing up his opponents. I for one don't give a shit, but to say this isn't showboating is completely asinine.

I personally prefer Saquon Barkley's approach

to scoring touchdowns. By a lot. And I hate it when a WR gives a big thataway-point for a first down, when his team is behind by three touchdowns.

WTF? He 100 percent showboated. He's been doing that since his ND days. Come on.
He showboated

And who cares. There’s nothing wrong with having some fun. My goodness

What Tate did wasn't a big deal. None of that stuff ever bugged me with Beckham, either. Just don't get penalized.

Guys celebrate in this league... we're never going to have a team full of guys who don't do it, nor would I expect one. Defenses pose when they score, guys do all sorts of choreographed shit every week. It's just part of the league.

I prefer the more tame Saquon-esque approach, but I don't really care about the type of stuff Tate did. He's always been like that.
Nice play

I thought that was pretty tame myself, maybe a little bit of showboat, but nothing really even worth brining up
