D backs were really awful last night..

Is mason foster available? I think that would help LBers. The secondary though....just have a couple young guys. I expect to see more love and ballentine as season goes on

to my friend about an hour ago. Specifically the full speed whiff by Peppers in the 2Q on a 3rd & 6 or so. Would have stopped the Pats right there, but no, they get a 1st down.

Up to scratch. While Baker and Haley posted decent combine results, they don’t look fast and quick on the field. Bethea is old and slow. I’m concerned that there is a physical talent deficit.

Only Jenkins and Peppers seem to have the requisite level of athleticism, at least to my eyes. Am very curious to see Beal and Ballantine out there as they work them in.

Haley I think that's fair on, but Baker looks like a player to me. I'm not worried about his athleticism or speed at all. His coverage has been getting better each week and he's not getting beat nearly as much as he was earlier.

looked next to useless out there. slow, bad angles, constantly shying away from any kind of action.

Did not play bad I thought. Couple of catches against but stellar against the run.

But bad in game management/decisions, time management, playcalling, are.

Actually Baker made some good tackles. He took White out for a loss where he really smacked him.
Agree that Jenkins is inconsistent. I think he hurt his shoulder last week - saw him get up and look in pain.

Peppers just whiffed on that third and 7, think he had another one later in the game he did the same. What he hits normally gets put down, but sometimes he commits and a small juke causes him to miss. The one area that Collins was better at is tackling.
