I was actually joking that they should have put Eli in that game to beat the Pats. Overall I thought without the 3 picks it would have been a much closer game possibly a win.

PFF had some statistic showing it was the toughest game any QB has faced in the entire league in the last 4 years from a secondary perspective. That is to say: least amount of average separation by receivers (i.e. no one was open the entire game and he was constantly throwing into the tightest of coverage). So yeah that probably also had something to do with it.
