take away davlin cook, mattison, rudolph, thielen...lets see how they do....
people still cannot wrap their head around us being DECIMATED by injuries. no other team in football is that badly injured. giants will be fine on offense. need to add an OT early in draft, and then a ton of Defense help in FA and rest of draft
The OP is an inferred excuse for us getting dominated. You have reading comprehension issues?
No I know exactly what he was saying, but you have issues with which I disagree. Just because you didn't like the game plan doesn't mean the rest of us have to agree with you. You ASSUME you are the only opinion that matters.
UUmm what opinion am I supposed to argue for? Someone elses? Get a grip you're not making any sense.
All you are saying if the Giants coaching staff was better they would have won, pretty much ignoring that the Vikings have better talent across the board. You want to dismiss that the Eagles with much better personnel got beat pretty decisively by the Vikings. Can you name one aspect of the Giants that is better than the Vikings, with the exception of Rosas and probably Jones?

This Giants aren’t deep enough to lose their top two WRs and arguably the best RB in the league. Shocking
against a winning team that one the superbowl just the other year. hopefully daniel jones turns in as good a performance v the eagles this year. so far it looks to me like jones has regressed a bit.
Let's take a look at what I actually posted..."No excuse for our dismal compete level, poor gameplan and execution."
Nowhere do I say we 'should have won the game". I correctly questioned our preparedness, battle level and strategy. There is a difference between performing at a respectable level and actually competing and repeatedly getting blown out. Which is a far too familiar theme in our games.
I believe there are workshops for that reading comprehension skill you might want to look into.
and being underrated by the forum when we played them.
They're a veteran team with a defense that is talented and capable of cohesive, high level performances. Their skill players on offense are plenty good and capable of getting really hot for a few games.
We gave them (and Cousins) their confidence back, like I figured we would. Giants are still too young and shorthanded, even when healthy.

Our team depth is a problem. People look at our starters and there are some good ones, but everyone needs a breather. Our depth is bad, everywhere.
What's been on the market is a problem too, that's how you wind up relying on guys like Mayo, Stupar, Davis, and taking a flier on Bethea, trading for Ogletree. It takes a few seasons to really set part of the foundation, as you're going to miss on draft picks and UFA is often not optimal.
'Giants are still too young and shorthanded, even when healthy.' Â
Agreed. It's exacerbated on defense by the staffs stubborn reluctance to 'go young' with more physically talented players sitting in lieu of struggling 'vets like haley and bethea.
Agreed. I don't know what they're not seeing in practice from Ballantine, Love, Beal, et al. But, this team isn't going anywhere this season. Figure out what you've got in house, because not every draft pick will succeed or earn a second contract.

And the Giants didn't have their best player.
WTF doe that have to do with the Vikings being good?

We have sexier cheerleaders.
