Agreed. He managed in the moment all game to get out of each inning. You don't manage to save guys in case you get to extras. You hope your bats come through along the way.
This is plainly wrong. If that's how you feel why not bring in Chapman in the 2nd inning with 2 runners on? You have to be prepared for a time game in the 9th t go to extra inning.s
You need to get the big outs along the way or you never get to Chapman or extra innings.
You don't bring in Chapman in the 2nd inning because that's not his job. It's Green's and the other big arms in the pen.

All things equal the pen got into the 11th giving up 1 run, they've done well.
