We're still in the hunt for the division. There isn't currently a scenario I see that if we stunningly made the post season where we could advance but hey I'll take it.

Amen. The problem is this staff isn't playing the right people to get there. Haley and Bethea are playing awful ball and it's killing us. It's hard to see the path to significant improvement when we keep running them out there.

All these teams have problems. No reason the expectation shouldn’t be the division.

Aside from playing each other, the giants can still lose and be right there

Something a team to take seriously should do, they will be entering week 8, guaranteed to be only 1 out if first in the loss column

If they don’t win, would be very disappointing and put a different feel to he season.

Exactly. I don’t want to hear the Giants don’t have this or that. Bullshit. Dallas is flawed. Philly is flawed. The Skins are terrible. The division is there for whomever wants it.

Here's hoping they use the bye week to get some guys like Ballentine and Love some work with the 1's.

I have a feeling they're gonna stick with Haley though unless one of the guys shows a real good understanding of the D and doesn't look like a rookie.

We are also 1 game out of LAST place :)

I really just don't understand the Bethea and Haley thing. There is simply no way Love and Ballentine could be worse, unless there's an injury we don't know about. Play the guys. They need to play at some point anyway. I would love to know how Bettcher thinks Bethea or Haley should be on the field over anyone. Seriously.

Absolutely. Philly and Dallas have better rosters but they are not in the ascendancy.

I see us playing youth as the season moves on. The future is bright though we do have some MAJOR missing pieces before we can become an "elite" team:
-Edge Rusher of merit, someone that scares you
-LT that can handle top defenders with limited help
-RT upgrade
-FS upgrade

Also, you have to hope the young guys develop and can start. I see major cap space next year but we will sign our own and spend on UFA's that fit without over-spending for any "one guy" that another team doesn't really want OR perhaps need.

And New England... two teams playing lights out. Those are DJs only losses. Let’s see what happens this weekend but we are not out of it obviously.

Well I will start by saying we can lose to anyone.

That said, Eagles lose at Dallas and Buffalo
Cowboys beat Eagles and bye.
Giants beat AZ and Jets

We play Dallas at home for first place in NFC East. When we win:
Giants 5-4
Dallas 4-4
Eagles 4-5 (if they split with Bills and Bears)
Redskins irrelevant.
