has been the NFC Least the past few weeks.
Phillys D has stunk outside of 1 game vs Luke Falk. Next 5 games- @Dal, @Buf, vs Chi, vs NE, vs Sea.
Dallas loses their third straight. Their 3 wins are against the Giants week 1, the Redskins, and the Dolphins. Dak has reverted back to being mediocre. Their schedule is going to be tough from here on out. Vs Phi, @Giants, vs Min, @Det, @NE, vs Buf, @Chi, vs LAR, @Phi, vs Was
Meanwhile, the Giants are 1 game back, hopefully getting healthier and they have a winnable game at home next week while Dallas/Philly square off.
Maybe 9 wins can get it done this year?
They'd be luck to come out of it at 5-6

Well, this doesn't make sense. Every expert said that the Eagles were going to be an elite team in the NFC this year.
Philly needs secondary help...desperately.

What would it take to trade JJ within the division to PHI (and face him twice this year)? Something sweet I hope. I'd rather trade him to KC, but I'd most prefer we go into the DAL game 4-4 with the division lead on the line. (Both PHI and KC have $20m+ cap space)
...I love your outlook.
But I'm afraid you may not understand what sort of team the Giants have in 2019.
So far, they have been body slammed by Dallas, Buffalo, Minny and the Pats. We are 2-4 and one stupid missed FG from being 1-5.
We are not in the class of Dallas nor Philly. They've owned us for years and they will own us this year as well.
Talking about the standings is great, and being competitive would be real nice. But we are not going to be very competitive in 2019 which is more about putting in place enough pieces that will mature and coalesce in the years to come. That and at least two more successful drafts!
-Win our home game against Dallas (if they sweep us we won't catch them)
-Split 1-1 with Philly (if they sweep us we won't catch them)
-Take care of business against the lesser opponents (i.e. beat the Cardinals, Jets, Dolphins, Skins)
That gets us to 8 wins and from there we would need to win at least 1 of the remaining NFC North games (@ Lions, @ Bears, vs. Packers). If we drop any of the 4 "easier" games we'd have to win at least 2 of the NFC North games.
It's certainly not impossible but it's going to be a tall order. I think we can squeak 1 win out of the 2 Eagles games. Honestly the game that might worry me most is the 2nd game against Dallas. We were just completely out-classed in that week 1 game (albeit I know we didn't have Jones in yet). I just don't know if we have enough on both sides of the ball to beat them.
Philly needs secondary help...desperately.
I hope so, let them squander some future picks.

I expect a big trade by Dallas and/or Philly before the Oct 29th trade deadline.

I don't see any trades between Philly, Dallas, and the Giants. Everyone is very much in the hunt.
Philly is supposedly kicking the tires on William Jackson of Cincy. Struggling player, but one who has graded out very well his first few years in the league. Maybe just needs a change of scenery.
Even though Jacksonville says Ramsey isn't for sale, I think he could be had for the right package. They are very happy with the way Tre Herndon has filled in for Ramsey. He's been very capable.
I suspect Philly will get well soon enough, and Dallas' woes might evaporate when their OL gets healthy.
Just sayin'...
If they've got to split with Dallas and PHI.
Maybe is right.
