NFT: Seaver.....

No Where Man : 10/14/2019 12:00 am
Anybody see it? Looking for a link to watch it.

Interesting Tom Seaver stat: Seaver wont 311 games in his career. While pitching for the Mets, he pitched in 75 games where he gave up two runs or less and received a "no decision" in those games. Jacob deGrom is now going through a similar experience.
Assinine op line.

I thought he had died and you wrote it that way so that people would click on your stupid thread.
I knew exactly what the post referenced.

I noticed it after the 1:00 game and recorded it. Looking forward to watching the show. I grew up watching Seaver pitch.
Also got the reference because I happened to

drop into the show when I tuned in to Fox early for the 4 pm game and they were showing it here.

I found it tough to watch him in his current condition. Not saying that is the right perspective but I couldn't stay with it.

after the game last night but, the post game show went on so long it must have pre-empted (not sure if that is the correct spelling) it?

Hope it will be on again. I am not even a "Met's" fan but, I was looking forward to it. '69 Mets are part of Baseball History .... New York Baseball history at least.

I apologize to you. I clearly misunderstood the byline and, you're right, I was the only asshole out of 700 (now 900 plus) people who didn't get it. My heartfelt apologies.
I saw it and it was good

as an old-time Mets fan. Sad parts about the Cincinnati trade and again when the Mets screwed him again by not protecting him in the free-agent pool in 1984 and let him go to the White Sox where he won 31 games. Thing I did not know or remember is that Seaver was with the Red Sox in 1986 and saw from the dugout the Mets win the World Series. (not on the Series roster due to injury)

But a special place in my heart for Seaver.

The reason could be interpreted as political, unfortunately.
Unless you added 30 minutes to record "Seaver" on your DVR,

you won't have the whole show as FOX didn't start it until 5:08 rather than 4:30 as they needed to continue to review the same games over & over again,ad naseum! However,it is listed on FS1 for next Sunday afternoon,2:00-3:00 PM
