NFT: JRE: Commander David Fravor and Jeremy Corbell

732NYG : 10/15/2019 3:40 pm
I believe we had talked about the Bob Lazar JRE episode a month or so ago when it dropped. Joe Rogan had Commander David Fravor on his show last week, who had a highly decorated aviation career in the military and was one of the air crewmen who witnessed first-hand the “tic-tac” encounter that took place in 2004 off the California coastline and has been documented in the media frequently as of late. Really interesting stuff, especially when coupled with the Lazar episode. Anyone else catch this?

is exactly how Lazar described they thought it worked. I'm happy to have a good talk about this subject.

Jeremy Corbell is a clown though.

What has taken me awhile to wrap my ahead around is that they believe the UFOs can fly in and underwater as easy as above...

Jeremy gets very annoying each time he’s on, BUT you can’t discount the fact that he’s putting in a lot of work to get this stuff out in the open. He said he has more witnesses that will be coming forward soon to corroborate more of what Lazar has talked about.

water, air or space doesn't matter. USOs have been reported for a long long time. The most famous Canadian sighting is a craft that went into Shag Harbor in Nova Scotia.
What are your guys opinion

Any takes on the Salvator Cezar Pais patents?

First "UFO" like tech and recently a compact fusion reactor design. The latter is somewhat believable given the buzz around the tech in private sector and the government (Lockheed Martin Skunk Works, etc.).

I played poker this past weekend with a group that included a Navy F-18 pilot. Someone brought this story up (and the Rogan pod). The pilot confirmed that this story wasn't bullshit, and had indeed made the rounds at the Pentagon.

I think there’s still a stigma attached to the UFO phenomenon. While stories like this definitely help to legitimize the topic, I still hear from plenty of people that believe we are truly alone in the universe. I believe once more testimonies emerge, we’ll see more of a shift in the paradigm, and it has started shifting in a mainstream direction, but it takes time.
Frankly I think it is a blind spot in human psyche
Bold Ruler : Mod : 10/15/2019 6:40 pm : link
People just laugh it off. Even when confronted with sightings, evidence, etc... I think humanity can't handle the fact that we aren't the apex species in the Universe, can't accept that we aren't the center of everything. Look at Carl Sagan and Neil deGrasse Tyson, they laugh it off. They mock people who suggest UAP are actual craft under intelligent control and they arent ours, the Russians or the Chinese. Hell, 90% of the Universe is made up of Dark Matter and Dark Energy. Until 20 years ago, we had no idea either of these things exist. We still dont understand what they are. Yet, as humans, we laugh off the idea that we are being visited by neighbors. Because we know everything, right?

Sagan and Tyson laugh it off because there isn't any proof; they each have asked the question about life on other planets. Sagan was instrumental in the formation of SETI.

The odds on being visited by another species are probably really small due to the vast distances and technological know-how that would be required. And again, no proof exists.

Sagan said it himself with two quotes:

"The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence."

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."
The Tic-Tac video, the Gimble video, the go-fast video are all proof
Bold Ruler : Mod : 10/15/2019 6:56 pm : link
and these are only getting a lot of recognition because they are video from US military. But commercial pilots, military, astronauts have been seeing this phenomenon for decades. And it has been ignored and laughed off. Take for example the tic-tac or gimble video. There are no flight surfaces, there is no visible means of propulsion, there is no exhaust heat signature. These craft have dropped from 80,000 feet to 20,000 feet in less than a second. This isn't something we as humans are capable of creating as it literally goes against our limited comprehension of physics. When you actually break it down...to me and many others it is obvious these UAP are not from Earth.
Life must exist all over the universe IMHO
Marty in Albany : 10/15/2019 7:03 pm : link
But 95 percent of the people on Earth have cell phones. It is inconceivable to me that any alien visitor can escape being clearly, very clearly, photographed. IMHO, no photos, no alien visitors.
The recent videos released by dept of defense seem pretty good
Bold Ruler : Mod : 10/15/2019 7:05 pm : link
Part of it also is the military cameras are remarkably good and use Flir IR etc... Most people when seeing a siting are stunned and in shock.

Those are examples of something that haven't been explained...that's not the same thing as proof. Saying these unexplained phenomena are proof of aliens is akin to the Aztecs thinking a solar eclipse meant the gods were pissed.

These videos are compelling, but they aren't proof of anything.
They are proof of US military acknowledging this is a real phenomena
Bold Ruler : Mod : 10/15/2019 7:24 pm : link
they can't do anything about it, and what is seen on video and on radar is literally impossible according to human understanding of physics.

I am curious what your explanation would be?
I don't have an explanation
Go Terps : 10/15/2019 7:34 pm : link
No explanation exists - at least not publicly. And that shouldn't be a surprise...there's an enormous amount of stuff that we don't understand about Earth, let alone the presence of life from other planets. I just watched something on BBC about a spider the size of a thumbnail that can create a strand of silk 25 meters long that is stronger than steel. Scientists have no idea how it creates so much silk in a short period of time.

The amount of stuff we don't know about the Earth alone may still exceed the amount of stuff we DO know about it.

I'm someone that believes life exists somewhere else in this universe, but a revelation that enormously significant requires enormous proof in order for it to be accepted as the established truth.
Right on. Im not saying it is absolute truth.
Bold Ruler : Mod : 10/15/2019 7:38 pm : link
These are actual craft and we arent capable of making them. So to me, the most logical explanation is a civilization much more advanced than ours did. It is the most likely scenario IMO. Could be time travelers from Earth, but who knows. It isn't made by humans on Earth in 2019.

you see a lot of weird shit that is unexplainable. Eyes have a tendency of playing tricks on you out there hence the mermaid myths. I was standing bow watch at night and was convinced I saw a 25 foot sea snake. Googled it a few months later when we got home and apparently they only grow to 6 feet. I listened to this podcast and it all sounds very credible, Corbell is a fucking clown though. I want to believe.

Zeke's Alibi, thanks for your service. Agree about eyes. What we have here is on video and the most advanced radar on the planet. Multiple craft dropping from 80,000 feet to 20,000 feet in less than a second. Hovering there for hours. All recorded.

If ET has the technology for interstellar travel they certainly have the technology to avoid detection from an APG-73 or SPY-1.

Even the best tech has opportunity to fail. Actually in the documentary done by the Blink 182 guy when they are talking with Italian officials who have documented UFO sightings they theorize they can't do it during certain moments that are specific to propulsion or something I can't remember.
The odds point more to top-secret US/Russian craft
Bockman : 10/15/2019 10:19 pm : link
instead of little green men. However, both Cmdr Fravor and Bob Lazor's stories are quite compelling.

I think it's conceivable that instead of extraterrestrial visitors, it's ancient visitations (queue ancient alien meme) being discovered and reverse-engineered by government agencies.

The second half of that statement is an assumption. Just because navy pilot isn't aware of the US having such craft, doesn't mean the US is not making these craft. My default feeling on all these credible sightings is some secret government defense agency. I am open to the idea of a extraterrestrial observational drones or something of the like, and it is startling to hear of government higher ups claiming ignorance, but I will wait and see.

To me a gravitational propulsion arms race between nations is a more terrifying proposition than humans being so outmatched by these potential ET craft.
Widmer I'd agree because if it was ET they already would have wipes us

So either the US or China or Russia is able to create and operate craft that dont have flight surfaces, no visible means of propulsion, no heat signatures and can go instantly from not moving to 2,000?

Why would the U.S. literally spend $100 M per F-35 if we had that capability? Doesn't make sense.

that have absolutely lost their minds over this stuff. They are fully convinced aliens are here, the craft are proof-positive of it and that there is a huge coverup to deny us the truth.

I keep asking - what would you do with the truth? They don't really have an answer to that.

I'm pretty sure some of the people on this thread are similar to them.

It is quite possible with the truth out there that things that seem like such a big deal would pale in comparison to the realization we aren't alone in this world and our tribalism is meaningless. Just a thought, probably last for five minutes before we start killing each other again.

Nothing lethal, but a good common enemy to reunite us all.

Maga hats manning the front line next to Bernie voters, cowboy fans alongside Giants fans, battling for each other.

If aliens were here, smart, and truly beneficial, they'd set this up so we could dig ourselves out of the hole we've dug ourselves.

The assumption perceivable events in the sky are objects to me is the biggest logical flaw.

The vanguard in weaponry and tech has been laser and satellite based systems for some time.

Light and laser projection can create the illusion of really sophisticated events, and creating the the impression you have more sophisticated systems than you have is quite a benefit.

Look at the history of aircraft developed in secret through DARPA. The B2 "Stealth Bomber" was conceived in the 70s, didn't hit the public eye until 15 years later, and wasn't used in combat until 1999. We didn't stop purchasing bombers in the meantime. Looking it up, we spent an estimated 23 billion on its development in secret. And that's just a plane that avoids radar detection.

Of course this represents a quantum leap in tech, but assuming it is a secret government project you have no idea how "ready" it is to move people or strap ordinance to it. It could just be a really awesome drone at this point.

These phenomena
Mike from SI : 10/16/2019 11:31 am : link
can both (1) be real; and (2) not evidence of aliens at the same time. There are plenty of things we don't have explanations for. (I have a few physicist friends and according to them there are actually some very basic things humans still don't understand; their discussions go over my head, though, so I can't even begin to relay them.)

I also logically don't get why if aliens visited they'd do a weird thing where they reveal themselves partially but never directly contact us. (And, yes, ants cannot understand the intentions of humans, but I'd still like some sort of explanation that works for my human brain.)
