"He plays hard. I think he’s very disruptive. We are starting to see, well we sort of saw it, but I think people who don’t know Markus are starting to see what he did a couple years ago when he had a lot of impact sacking the quarterback."

Shurmur on Julian Love, whose impact has mainly been on specials: "He’s doing very well. We like where he’s at. We feel like he did a nice job playing nickel and, sort of, safety for us. He’s continuing to develop in those positions. He certainly can play corner outside as well."

Shurmur on G Will Hernandez: "I think he’s played much better than he did a year ago. I see really good improvement, he’s tough, he’s sturdy. I think he’s doing well and progressing well."

With Corey Ballentine in the concussion protocol, ST coordinator Thomas McGaughey strongly hinted that Darius Slayton could be used as the kick returner on Sunday. Cody Latimer is another option.

On my Madden I use my bottom of the roster for a return specialist. You know, not a roster spot on a 3rd string QB that no one else in the league bothered to call.

This scares me greatly. I know Slayton has done a pretty good job catching the ball as a WR so far this season but his drops were a big concern in college. Hopefully he can handle return duties without anything catastrophic.

Do you have to set inactives on game day in Madden? (been a long time since I played). And aren't Slayton/Latimer "bottom" of the roster guys? When everyone's healthy, you're talking about the 3rd and 4th WRs...

Supposedly, he had vision problems which have been corrected. If the drops were down to something else, I guess we'll see. But his pass-catching has been pretty solid since he came back - right?
Catching kick returns is easy, no joke. And the worst thing that can Â
happen is it falls right in front of you and you pick it up. It might cost you 5/10 yards but when was the last time you saw a turnover because a guy dropped a kickoff?
That's 1.5 returns/game and there were a couple where he would've been better off taking the touchback. With the rules nowadays, you don't even have to catch the ball in the endzone for it to be a TB.

No you cant unfortunately because EA Sports is awful ,i tried to get all the long snappers to snap for their teams but when i sim the pre season they cut them all lmfao ,they also have them listed as tight ends and not as long snappers .Really need 2k to get the NFL License back
Golden wanted to re-establish his market value and the Giants needed a pass rusher desperately. Even if he leaves in free agency the Giants will likely be getting a comp pick for him.
What did he say? Only see quotes about Golden up there
Have other coaches been attacked as much as Shurmur has on a draft pick?
Of course they do, and they should. Eff all the self important writers....

Constantly employ a subtle or not-so-subtle "I told you so" message in their responses as much as Shurmur does?

It's just an odd way to phrase the answer.
