After 3 games in 14 days, the Rangers finally settle into some semblance of a normal schedule with games tonight and tomorrow, then every other day next week. I'm just excited to finally see the Rangers take the ice tonight.
Looks like Howden and Strome will flip flop 2nd/3rd line center roles, and Smith is moving up to the 3rd line. Georgiev will be in net tonight, Henrik tomorrow night. Devils are 0-4-2 and Hughes has no points. Typical Rangers fan wisdom under these circumstances suggests the Devils win tonight and Hughes has a hat trick, but I'm hoping they can push their first win at least one more game. Devils have a lot of talent in Hall, Nico, Hughes, Gusev, Subban, Palmieri, Zajac, Simmonds...it's hard to believe they have lost 6 straight to start the season.
I'll have this game on split screen with the Yankees tonight. Let's go Rangers!

I swear. Quinn is slowly morphing into AV.
Yeah, they got uniforms and everything. It's really great.
We desperately need a 2C to get our second line going, and Chytil hasn't looked anything like the answer there.
It's a long season, and I don't mind Quinn making the young players earn their minutes. It sure worked for Buch last year.
+1, completely agree. Unlike many who don't want him suiting up at all, or even on the roster for that matter, I do see his value. He offers the kind of grit and toughness you're getting from most wingers on a 4th line anyway, and his versatility to also play D for PK is valuable. Our D just isn't constructed in a way to put out two competent sets of D pairs for PK, with the two rookies and Deangelo.
BUT, moving him up to 3rd line winger is ridiculous. Read that Lemieaux may be ill though? But either way, him on 3rd line is a joke.
Weird schedule.
I'll be in NYC on 11/4 and might go to the NYR vs Sens game (love watching hockey at MSG).
Do you realize that how many multi goal leads the Devils have already blown this year?
