Have been chumps in the box this series. This savage thing was like the thumbs down thing two years ago. Stupid thank god it will go
Away after this series

And hopefully you will go away too. It would almost be worth a loss to never have to see your posts on a Yankee thread again

Those pitchers won't matter if the situational hitting completely falters like this again.
Like I said in another thread - a lot of fans are going to come out of this series railing on Cashman for the pitching, but it won't really be fair or logical.
The bats are failing us in this series. This has been essentially a team-wide, lineup-wide failure to hit with runners on base and get runners home in key spots.
Time after time, we've failed to do this and it's exactly why the Yanks are going to lose this series if it comes to pass.
I certainly hope we are aggressive and are trying to add pitching this offseason. I would pay Gerrit Cole whatever it takes... I've said that several times.
But, if the lineup does this again, it really doesn't matter who is up there. You can't advance in series' when you hit this poorly situationally.
is the team is inspired by CC last night and comes roaring back. That's what my heart tells me, but my head says 6-2 Astros.
Inspired by what, though? It was a heart-breaking end to a great career. Mostly everyone just felt bad for him. I don't see how that fires up the team and inspires them to suddenly start hitting.
Let's have a more positive vibe on this thread. Maybe wait a couple innings before giving up on the year.
The best part about baseball, for me, is that it ain't over till it's over. There is no clock that controls what this team can do unless they submit to a clock set by the Astros.
I'm in this all the way until they pry the lumber from the Yankees 2019 dead hands.

Backs against the wall but you're not gone until you're gone. One game at a time. Can't win 3 games tonight.

You must be so much fun at parties
Let’s go!
Hello Mr. Cohen. Hope your team wins, as well!
1-1 baby.
