Hopefully he's learned from some of the mistakes he's made so far. If he plays well I believe we'll win. Not sure what to expect from Saquon today other than I hope to hell he leaves this game healthy!!!
Coming off an ankle, and expected rainy conditions Â

Interesting that Kaden Smith appears to have moved ahead of Garrett Dickerson.
weeks, both those teams absolutely suck. I don't understand people being scared of Murray. Fitzgerald on the other day is going to have a field day against Haley, but outside him I just don't see anyone doing that much damage.
The Giants should be able to run all over the Cards and their terrible run defense.
Barkley is fresh and presumably healed. These are the games why you pick him no. 2.
The Cards run defense isn't as bad as their numbers, they've been playing from some large deficits, played Lamar Jackson, and CMC busted off like a 90 yard td on them. I think we should be coming at this game with a very balanced approach, their pass d is worse than their rush d.

I think there are few key stats that the Giants should exploit...They give up a ton of yardage on 1st down, they have trouble stopping runs in between the tackles, and their LBs and Safeties cant cover over the middle. Their D can rush the passer, and their edge players are excellent (When the hell is Suggs gonna slow down?). If I'm Shurmur I dont even try to run outside. Quick hitters out of shotgun in between the tackles, and play action to Engram behind the Lbs.
This game is not only Pat Shurmur's line in the sand... Â
Quite possible. I hope we see more of Love today, but Haley and Bethea are real liabilities. We need to run the ball well to keep Kyler off the field. The good news is that their run defense is very poor.

I hope they give this kid some playing time over the rest of the season. I think TE is a bigger need than most realize. Engram is a stud but they need a better #2 TE that can contribute more than Ellison as a receiver. Ellison will be a cap casualty this offseason so the FO needs to bring in another TE who is a suitable option next to Engram.

The weather is going to be very bad today.
If the above indicates the Cards are susceptible to 1) a QB who can move the chains 2) a RB who can pop big gains 3) can't stop the run when down -- all of that should bode well for the Giants.

I know it won't happen, but I'd really like to see some changes to the OL. Solder and Remmers can't handle speed rushers, and Zeitler is clearly hurt.
Mayo and Tree on the inside. This defense is getting better. Slowly. But it’s happening. Lawrence, Hill, Tomlinson seem to be a little bit more disruptive each week. Baker is gaining confidence. Peppers getting comfortable and making some plays. The cupboard is not nearly as bare as people thought.

Agreed. Real young on D but peices starting to acclimate, mature and come together.
Ball control keep Murray off the field
Turnovers can't give these guy short field
or special teams TD .
Not sure what to expect from Barkley I hope
there is not much of any rain .
Jones has to have a turnover free game .
Keep Murray in the pocket and hopefully get
on top early and put this game away early .

DG has transomed the Giants into a LB factory! Mayo, tree, and Connolly is a + unit. Excellent moves to obtain Mayo, who very might have been something of a gem buried under Kuechly and Davis. Tremendous to see LBs leading in tackles, haven't seen that in a long ass time.

The "gem" signed a two year contract with the Niners who let him go in August. The only reason he's here is he's an ex-Panther. More like coal in the stocking.

I can Ogltree and Peppers spying him well, concerned about him killing or edge contain.
I see it that way as well, not to mention his legs as well. :(

...as Head Coach of the New York Giants, but as a future NFL Head Coach anywhere.

Hopefully the time off helps Zeitler and Remmers with their injuries. Really like to see them get the run game going.
Inclement weather so Jones really has to protect the ball (interceptions and fumbles).
On D, let's start being above average stopping the run. They should have better production with the DL they have.
