How did you like today when Jenkins barely lays a finger on the WT who tripped over his own 2 feet?
But hey, they called PI in real time so let’s NOT use replay to correct a phantom call, because you know, for some reason the NFL has decided that would be bad.
I’m sure Blandino took great pleasure in explaining that even though contact was minimal, they’re not going to pick up those flags.

That's a tricky subject.
You actually have people here saying that challenging an obviously bad call is somehow a dumb move.

I wouldn't call it dumb. But it's also obvious by now that the league isn't going to overturn PI calls unless there is something as egregious as the Saints-Rams call, where it wasn't close. If there's ANY contact, and PI is called, they're going let the call stand and support the refs. They should save everybody the headaches and just announce that.
And then there is no penalty. What did he see to make him throw the flag, and what happened afterwards to change his mind?
Ineligible man downfield getting picked up because a player with an ineligible number reported eligible I get picking up a flag. But how does the call change after the flag is thrown?
And I say that as someone who did not think that first call was interference. The receiver went down when their feet got tied up. The hand checking didn’t effect the play.
I’m convinced our problem is coaching first. I see players on Dallas who I have never heard of making plays and getting tons of pressure and an hits. No way Dallas has an entire def of pro bowl players but it sure looks like it...so it’s scheme and coaching.
lost to the Jets. This mind you after they got their doors blown off by the Vikings. And the argument was that they lost to two teams the Eagles beat, one of which was the Jets whom the Eagles played when their 3rd string QB was playing and the Cowboys played with Darnold. Anyway, so happy with this result.
Now, if you are going to ground, it can be perceived as "giving oneself up", and as long as you have control of the football when any body part touches, it is not a fumble.
Ironically, we were saved by the rule on a Victor Cruz play.
It was always difficult on the refs to determine Â

I hate the way these calls are made these days

Keep in mind though, Peppers was called for a PI after a review already this year.

Fuck the Eagles.

Some BBI'ers are still celebrating the Eagles winning the Super Bowl 2 years ago.

Didn't Eli do the same exact thing some years ago and the call was Giants fumble? If memory serves it was against the damn Eagles.
Yup
Ironically it was a sunday night game too
Eli dove forward and fumbled, wentz went into a slide

Believe the rule has changed since then. How, diving head first or feet first, you're considered down - or giving yourself up - when you go to ground.
Believe Wentz went head first in a game versus ATL, his knee hit - was untouched - and was down even though he went into the endzone...........

In game where i was talking about eli didn't go head first, and didn't really fully slide, it was half and half as seen in photo of that game

I still can't believe we had "Giants fans" on this board rooting for the Eagles in that Super Bowl.
