Because of Antoine Bethea. He took horrible angles on all three td runs. The first one he was somehow late reacting to the play and made no effort to get over. There is no reason why he should be starting any longer. He stands out for all the wrong reasons.

It literally looked like they were just replaying the same TD 3 times

couldn't play off their blocks. And I'll add that when they did, they didn't tackle well enough.

I know Michael Thomas is the backup SS but I would much rather have him starting next to Peppers than have Bethea out there anymore. Thomas works his ass off at least. Bethea shies away from contact.

Antoine Bethea is simply one of the least valuable Safeties I have seen actually start games.

And that is saying something after some of jokes the Giants have played at that position.
