MNF: Pats @ Jets.

A part of me-albeit a very small part-thinks the Jets can actually make this a game & be in a position late to steal it. With Darnold, they looked like a competent NFL team vs. Dallas. But then again, it's the Patriots. BB, TB, & that insane defense.

good but they sure did the job there. Brady gets rid of the ball so quick. All throws behind the line or slants. March right down the field. Michel running making it look easy. What a well coached team.

There was a jets jersey that took a 1/4 of the screen as he run up the middle toward Brady clear as day

Obviously execution too but the play on which they scored the TD - beautiful misdirection, kind of like what Arizona was doing to us. Do we have similar plays in our playbook?

Patriots don't have to beat the other team. They just wait for the other team to beat themselves. Their execution is miles better than that of their opponent. That's great coaching.

I really don’t understand the intricacies of football well enough to recognize the difference in play calling. My question about execution or play calling was a legitimate question.

Seems to me Brady just makes the right choices regardless of what play is called. His release is so quick and he s so dam accurate

I don’t give a shit about other Pats coaching failures and what happened in Denver. He’s spent 10+ years with Belichick and runs a way more innovative offense than what he gets credit for. Super young, NFL experience, right hand guy of the greatest coach of all time. Worth a second chance.
