Here's a question I have: locker room culture is important, right? And the head coach generally sets the tone for that, right? So how the hell can you have "good" locker room culture (whatever the hell that means) when you have ONE OF THE WORST HEAD COACHES (BY RECORD) IN NFL HISTORY? How are you going to tell not only the players but the fans that we're committed to winning and yet have Pat fucking Shurmur as your head coach?
You don't fire someone for the sake of firing, but I defy anyone to give me one reason, ONE MEASLY REASON, why Pat Shurmur should be the head coach of the New York Football Giants in 2020. Why someone with a record of 17-41 should continue to lead this team.

The roster IS an issue, it's full of kids, but it's Shurmur's job to actually develop them. Nobody's getting better on this team. They're getting worse.

And the D fell apart late but played better than the O did. Marinelli horribly outclassed Shurmur. We finally get Barkley the ball in space and he rumbles for 65 yds. Where is the creativity with Barkely?

I don’t think the DL is the problem. The problem is that the DC is married to a shitty 3-4 scheme when the starting LBs suck dick.
The DL held up pretty well tonight vs one of if not the best OL in the league. None of the LBs could make a play.
I'm not a fire the coach type person. Either Shurmur and Bettcher are really bad coaches or we need to replace 90% of this team. Both have to go.
think biggest issue is the LB corps. Many of Elliot's runs started ut bottled up by DL then he squiorts trough becaise of second leevl of defense. and no pass rush - cannot let any QB sit back there and not get sacked, not get knocked down
