cut Solder at the end of the year. He should have been traded for whatever we could have gotten, unless we couldn't do it for cap reasons. Terrible signing by DG. He was only signed because they erroneously thought Eli had a few good years left, based on some meaningless games at the end of 2017. It was painfully obvious even then that Eli was done. He couldn't move and extend plays.

As for right now, I'd likely bench Solder for Gates. At a minimum, I'd bench Remmers for Gages, Slade, or Smith, and help Solder with a TE or Penny on a regular basis.

This has to be done. The fact that he did decent with the Pats also tells you, coaching is a huge problem!!

But instead we trade up for CB who can’t figure out what he is supposed to be doing. Maybe Baker improves but it’s clear the OL ain’t.

The guys he drafted get the benefit of still learning in the NFL. Baker can be Jaroun Hosley scary at times. Hopefully he improves at some point.

Instead of staying put and picking an offensive lineman is just one of many gaffes made by this GM. Does Baker look like a first round corner to anyone? He plays decent man coverage, gets lost in zones, and can't tackle.

Was just down right pitiful. He needs to be benched. He was like a spinning-top all night.
