Enough with Jon Halapio already.

The two tackles are pretty bad but this guy is the main culprit in our line. The guy gets pushed back way too often. It’s affecting Jones and Barkley. Pulley wasn’t terrible last season. It’s time to give Pulley a go and see what he can do.
i agree

we're so bad on OL but we make no changes. what the hell? even if you think the backup is worse i'd still put him in to send a message.
I've been assured that Pat Shurmur was a college center

So he knows talent at that position when he sees it.
I agree...
M.S. : 11/5/2019 8:54 am : link

...bench him.
I like DG but this was his biggest blunder. Pulley stinks but we are

making way too many assignment errors up front, mix that with roookie QB and you have a recipe for failure.
I've been assured there were NO other options
jcn56 : 11/5/2019 8:56 am : link
Not the guy they traded (Jones), not someone that could have been drafted, not someone available in FA. They were literally down to Halapio or Shurmur putting on pads and playing the position himself.
What do you mean?
Eli Wilson : 11/5/2019 8:59 am : link
He had a hell of a tackle against Barkley last night. Real good contact there.

You have to laugh to keep from crying
I think the Tackle play has been worse.

One is overpaid and the other is struggling.

I literally did laugh.
My favorite is when he runs to the second level...

...without putting a hand on anyone and then looks back at Barkley tackled 2 yards behind the LOS. Amazing display of athleticism there.

So did Saquon.

I felt bad for the guy. He puts so much into this.
Who could have predicted
HomerJones45 : 11/5/2019 9:09 am : link
that a guy who bounced around through several teams and ended up playing club football wouldn't make it as a pro center?

PS is gonna "coach him up", don't worry! they don't bench Bethea either or Ogletree for that matter, failure is readily accepted by the Giants.

Wow, I didn't realize that he had been cut by the Pats (twice), Denver and you guessed it-Arizona!! Haha, another Arizona castoff is starting for this team, is there a worse source of talent than the ever-dreadful Cardinals? Oh wait, now we are trading for Jet disappointments, it just keeps getting better!!!!
he stinks and he's always stunk
GiantsFan84 : 11/5/2019 10:03 am : link
i don't know how they didn't plan on improving that position this off-season

Barkley trucked his ass!! 😂
Great example
Biteymax22 : 11/5/2019 10:51 am : link
of why you don't give guys starting spots in the off-season
I think Pulley is more athletic,
Simms11 : 11/5/2019 12:25 pm : link
but he's not the Hog Mollie that they feel can move people. He was ok last year, but if he was that much better, he'd be starting.

They desperately need to upgrade Center in off-season too. It might take a new coaching staff to see that however!
