An MRI of Giants’ TE Evan Engram’s foot injury is being sent to noted Dr. Robert Anderson for a second opinion, per source. Giants’ HC Pat Shurmur called it “little bit of a sore foot” yesterday, and for now, Engram’s status is uncertain.
We still have 3 QBs....
He has to be on the field for anyone to get 'a lot' out of him.
He missed 5 games last year. He's missed time this year and is hurt again. It's becoming an issue.
Didn't he have the best game of his career in Week 1 this season?
Shurmur sucks but he's not really holding Engram back as much as the injuries are. The production hasn't been bad when he has played.
I would have cashed out on him.
I guess we're going to bring back Dickerson...
The last 2 years he's had knee injuries that had zero to do with being an inline TE and everything to do with being a receiver. So, that isn't a solution.
That's definitely something the modern nfl is missing, good call, thanks for sharing.
Ha ha, right...
Very jealous of the D they've been able to put on the field. They didn't even have Vander Esch playing and they destroyed us. Must be nice.
If someone was offering anything significant, they should have at least entertained the offer or explored how much they really wanted him.
Could be that they are just publicly stating that he was off the table to avoid any problems.

They're very far ahead of us. It's depressing.
Every time we play them, you can just 'feel' the difference. It's like they're toying with the Giants and have zero doubt that they'll win.
Even at 12-3... you just knew the score wasn't the product of the Giants defense. It was just Dallas stumbling out of the gates a bit and taking some time to stabilize. It was only a matter of time until they took the lead and never looked back.
They completely control the game every time we play them. They're more talented, they execute better, and they're better coached.
Watching the Giants against the Cowboys knowing we're just completely fucking outclassed is miserable and infuriating.

Ironically enough, our notorious weak links are the backbone of their team.
OL and LB
Not bad having a Sean Lee to step in for LVE
We all know he will end up on Pats or Saints and become a superstar..
This is when you see the guys with pride: Golden Tate for one.....and the ones without.....Jenkins????
And the injuries...
The problem with a “unique” talent is that you design plays to take advantage of his special skills and then he goes down and that part of the playbook goes out the window
Does seem to get dinged up quaite a bit though, and the inconsistent hands.
He's more a big wr than TE.
Abysmal blocker, his guy crashes the line from wherever he lines up
The issues and futility just keep crescendoing, the distance between NYG and capable teams just keeps growing
He will be on the team in 2020 and either get injured at some point or not be "utilized" correctly.
The season will end and the Giants will not offer him a contract and will leave in Free Agency.
I agree as much as it sucks to say it.
Let him go. He always was a reach from Reese.
I'd like to see the coach who could miraculously keep him healthy and available to play.
None exists.
Considering we could have had Ramczyk as an OT, I believe it does matter.

EE is far from the problem.

We don’t have the other player, so why are we playing captain hindsight?
