NFT: Going to Tamp for 3 days for a wedding

montanagiant : 11/7/2019 6:57 pm
I haven't been there in quite a few years. Last time there I ate at an upscale seafood restaurant that cooked everything on mesquite planks, absolutely loved it. Don't know if it's still there but any other good seafood recommendations or does anyone else remember the restaurant I'm talking about?
No

But go to Bern’s, make a reservation. Go to Donatello.

That are popular. Ocean Prime, Coopers Hawk, Eddie V's and Oystercatchers.

Also definitely go to Berns if you have the time.

and make a reservation for their dessert room as well.
Price ranges for dinner?

Bern's is going to set you back well over $100 per plate.

What part of Tampa will you be in? If you are staying in a hotel, where's the hotel? Tampa is sprawling and don't want to give you recommendations for a place that is really far out of your way.

I live in Brandon, borders Tampa to the East.
I've only been to Tampa a couple times

but once I went to the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. I would recommend that.

Staying in a condo, right by the bridges. Don't want anything really extravagant just some real good seafood in business casual type setting

Indian Rocks Beach. Beautiful setting. What day is the wedding? If you are available on Sunday come down to ST. Pete Beach and watch game with our Giants' group at the Toasted Monkey. In fact Rumfish Grill is right next door and has excellent seafood plus a gigantic fishtank that you can walk under or see in the dining room.

Would love to but flying back home on Sunday mid-day. Thank you so much for the invite though!
