needs to settled down. Their punter fumbled a perfect snap resulting in a turnover, and then an INT is negated because they had 12 men on the field. They also just got a five yard encroachment penalty.
that LSU are the most underrated group of receivers in the country. They have guys who will play on Sunday for sure...excellent size, speed, and quickness.
Unless Alabama gets their coverage right, LSU is going to hang 40 on them...
Is projected as a mid-first round pick in mock drafts and he looks like the worst player on the field for Alabama. Feels like every other play #7 is doing something dumb or getting roasted.
Imagine the haul we could get if he was somehow on the board when we're up.
if he's the #1 he's not likely available when we're picking. but it could be that Tua is available and we can get a haul. Or Chase Y. is available and we take him. This would be a great year to be picking in the top 3.
Herbert and Eason may leap frog these guys, I like them both Â
there was no necessity of spending the #6 pick last season. We could have walked away with Allen, let Manning play out his contract and have a qb choice this year who could start immediately. Mara/DG totally enamored of the Cutcliffe connection.

These guys all have flaws like every other class. I am very skeptical that it will work out for Tua, he doesn’t impress me in these big games. I think he’s a product of the ridiculous talent around him. Not saying he has not shot but he’s undersized, injury prone and doesn’t seem to play well against teams with similar talent.

I agree. The more I watch him the more I see another product of being able to land 5 star recruits at every position.
How do people think Burrow, Eason and Herbert compare to Jones? If Jones was in this class where would he go? Not a fan of Tua.
I was a Burrow fan coming into this year he ended last season looking good and looked like a stud in their bowl game. If Jones was a Senior I would probably take Burrow, but having seen Jones this year I would pick him over the other 3

I have seen a lot of really good college football teams live over the years, but this LSU team talent wise might be the best I have seen in person.
If Burrow isnt the #1 pick whoever passes on him will kick themselves down the road.
He's going to be the #1 pick one way or another...either a team needs a QB and picks him #1 or a team has their QB and trades down to #2 and gets Chase Young while the QB needy team gets Burrow
if we're drafting in first 6 it seems that a blue chipper should fall to us. Hopefully an Edge or OL, but I'm beginning to feel that it will be Jeudy who falls to us.

--Bengals need a QB
--Dolphins need a QB
--Jets might decide one of the QBs is better than Darnold
--Whoever the new coach Washington hires might decide that Haskins isn't the guy
Hebert is the most athletically talented of the QBs he is Allen but better
Tua is a lot like Wilson. He moves in the pocket and has a great feel
Burrow is a gamer. Started at OSU and left to play at LSU best thrower and underrated athleticism
They would all be ranked ahead of Jones
But that doesn’t mean that they will be better
And would not have any talent or recruiting advantage in the NFL. I mean I would prefer him to Shurmur obviously but I don’t think it would be a great hire.

We screwed up if there were 3-4 QBs in this class ahead of Jones. I hope that isn't the case.

Saban stunk as an NFL HC. He is not going to coach in the NFL because even he knows he can't bring the Alabama boosters with him.
I think both are the beneficiaries of playing on super talented teams. Both are risky propositions imv if you’re looking to take them top 5 in the draft.

I think they’re both really good and worthy of top 5 selection.
LSU has to go to #1 and stay there until they lose. I know Ohio St has dominated but LSU has beaten 4 teams that were in the top 10 when they played them

LSU will probably move to #1 bc of opponents. But OSU is, unlike yrs past, looking very strong
Will get a freebie into the playoff now. Lose the one real game they play all season, skip the SEC title game, and then get in the playoff anyway because they’re Bama. Tried and true formula for them.

They are going to need a lot of help to make that happen this team. Having almost 50 laid on the them at home is not the sign of a playoff worthy team...
the LSU defensive coordinator should be under fire for that horrible defensive call late in the game. WTF was that?
How about earlier in the game on the other long TD when the idiot coaches on the LSU sideline yelled some play call change right before the snap to the corner and distracted him while the WR blew past him to get wide open.

Yeah, ‘Bama lucks into all those National Titles. Please, you may not like them, and I get that, but don’t try to say they haven’t earned their titles.
They win them because they’re usually the best team.

I think if Oregon wins out, they've got to have the best shot. Close Early season loss against an SEC team, undefeated in their league, has to be the way to go IMO.
Tua's phantom fumble was a big momentum killer early. For those killing Alabama D they did lose two LB's in pre-season one of which is a major star. Two Freshman starting.
The expectations on Bama are unreal imo. How many coaches, coordinators has Saban had to replace? How many players to the draft every year? It takes a toll yet they still remain at or near the top every year.
The had a graphic of how they could still get in which seems plausible. Two losses for either Penn State/Ohio State and a two loss Pac 12 team. Both seem possible.
Don't sleep on Clemson...they are starting to dominate.
nothing but respect for Tua to gut it out in that performance.
And the only thing on his mind after such a tough loss that he did everything he could to the very end with that high ankle sprain is congratulate LSU players at midfield.

The posters point wasn’t about past titles. It’s about this years team which if they go 11-1 will have had one quality win all season (Auburn) and hasn’t passed it’s usual eye test this year either.
It’s happened before where Alabama misses its conference title game and gets in anyway.
Hopefully this year it’s : LSU, Clemson, Ohio state and Georgia or Oklahoma.... but odds are LSU will beat Georgia and Oklahoma isn’t that good and might lose a vote to bama anyway, so bama probably still gets in despite 8 wins against 4 creampuffs, arkansas, Tennessee, and the Mississippi’s
Yes Bama needed at least one difficult non-conference Â
as Bama did yesterday. I rewatched yesterday’s game and it was stunning how poorly Bama tackled. It was actually embarrassing for a Saban team, especially at home. Give LSU some credit, but Bama were unwitting accomplices.
I don’t count Georgia out. They have the ability to play good ball control against a suspect LSU D. And just as many athletes...

Nice to see the refs completely miss it too.

Huge fan Sy and I love football, but I’m not sure I’ve ever tuned into a football game for the sole purpose of watching a left tackle. LOL.
There are at least 4 wide receivers on the field right now for both teams that I would take over any Giants receiver right now.

Not sure a flaw exists? Come on man. 6 months ago no one was talking about this guy and now he’s a flawless prospect?

I wouldn’t say complete. Tuna also has over 300 yards. And he’s not 100%

A dumb one
He's thrown some nice deep balls too

Agreed.
Watching these Saban defenses get ripped apart in these big games against spread offenses continues to be a major, major problem for him...

I’d be nervous taking him as the LT of the future. Could be Greg Robinson part 2.
Gives me some football to cheer for.
