Tua was hurt but still looked great
They both look like they will be excellent pros
Burrow is the leader for the Heismann
As for pro potential
Who goes first will be based upon scheme and individual preference
Hebert is also intriguing, he makes some crazy plays
He is big fast with a big arm

I don't think he looked "great". Burrow completely outplayed him, and is the #1 QB in this draft.
I'm not sure he was even good. He just barely completed over 52% of his passes. He had 2 turnovers. Both were really bad. Also it seemed basically all of his completions were to wide open WRs.
Burrow has been much more impressive this season and he was really awesome yesterday.
I think Herbert and Eason are the top pro prospects, but of course Â
they don't play for the top 2 teams in the country so fans and the media look over them.
I don't think it has anything to do with the top teams. How often do the top 2 QBs come from the top schools? I just don't think those guys are better prospects than Burrow & Tua.
Here are the top 2 QBs in the last 10 drafts. How many of these teams were ranked in the top 2 in the players final season?
just didn’t know who X was but it’s very clear to be Burrow now. Tua terrifies me, just constantly hurt and that isn’t going to get better in the NFL with less practice and getting hit more.

Murray - Oklahoma
Jones - Duke
Mayfield - Oklahoma
Darnold - USC
Trubisky - UNC
Mahomes - Texas Tech
Goff - Cal
Wentz - ND State
Winston - FSU
Mariota - Oregon
Bortles - UCF
Manziel - Texas A&M
EJ Manuel - FSU
Geno Smith - WVU
Luck - Stanford
Bob - Baylor
Newton - Auburn
Locker - Washington
Bradford - Oklahoma
Tebow - Florida
The thing that stands out most on that list is how few of those guys ended up actually being good
ALabama put up 34 poins on the number 2 ranked team in the country. It appeared he was w bit rusty early, didn't it? I only a heard bits and pieces on the radio and watched just a fw minutes. But some are suggesting he didn't play that well even though he helped put up 41 points? The QB is the most important position on teh field.
That 1st turnover was a freak. Secondly I heard on the radio they said he couldn't scramble. and the highlights I saw the poster who said the ALabama WR's were wide open all game is FOS unless he missed open WR's all game? I'm not arguing overall but he throw for 418 years with 4 td's and one int vs the number 2 team in the country - and yet he didn't play great? I guess you count his two to's - but can't rust be accounted for that? Nor arguing here- just asking other than the 1 poster's comments unless there was more Tua just missed wide open guys.

I watched the game. Tua had a grade "A" game. he hadn't practiced in 20+ days. It was obvious that his ankle wasn't completely healed, as he limped most of the game.
1st fumble was a fluke
Interception was bad. Just didnt read the defense.
There were plenty of occasions where he could have ran for 5, 10 yards but the ankle wouldnt allow it
to me, he has A+ accuracy and was putting the ball right where it needed to be 98% of the time.
If we are in a position to take him in the draft, i'd consider it. I think he is more talented than Jones and has more upside.
The SEC West has been down the last few years. A few years ago you had 4 teams from West that were in the top 10 with strong defenses. This is not a very good Bama D.
I think among the QB's more needs to be seen in the Conf. Champ. games and playoffs and off course the pre-draft work.
I noticed they do that thing where the entire offense looks to the sideline before the snap. Are the coaches essentially doing his pre-snap read for him and relaying in the adjustment from there?

...and Tua looked rusty and injured at times. Yet he still put up comparable stats to Burrow, and had a TON of uncharacteristic drops through the game. I don't think it's so easy to say Burrow is #1 in CFB right now. Though he might be...
'Bama defense was nowhere near dominant. Could be that LSU offense was just better...but not sure. 'Bama had some really bad breakdowns that just made you scratch your head.
I find it crazy that Tua is starting to get beaten up behind that OL, but it's happening. Looks like 'Bama took mobility out of the game script for Tua, while Burrow was allowed to run. That, IMO, was the biggest difference of the game
And put up a ton of yards, but overall watching the game he was definitely inconsistent. Was very surprised the amount of times LSU covered Jeudy with a safety...that’s a huge, huge mismatch especially after Vincent and Jacoby Stevens exited and LSU had a backup safety guarding him in the red zone.
Was also very impressed with the play of both running backs in that game, they played outstanding as runners and receivers.

There are at least 5 other good QBs in the draft

Tua really throws a nice deep ball.
stop playing yaself. he's been the top QB for a couple years. he misses some time and folks forget how good he is
yes
