Soft.....slow, poor tackling is the saving grace of the giants defensive scheme which specializes in being as much out of position as possible. Bettecher’s genius is to give opposing quarterbacks lots of time to relax and read their receivers, who are all running in open unguarded space.
got beat right down the field. No big plays. They just jammed it right down our defensive throats. They also took more than half the first quarter with that drive. They did a great job matriculating the ball down the field.
