we lost today. Just brutal carrying the ball for 13 carries and 1 yard and his pass protection was abysmal. He has no business playing but shurmur refuses to adjust and give gallman a shot instead

For this reason alone I would for Shurmur. Inexcusable.
Barkley is hurt and afraid of contact that may aggravate the injury. He’s bailing on his blocking assignments and going west to east way too much. Wouldn’t be surprised if we put him on IR and he gets ankle surgery.
Bell averaged 2 yards a carry. Obviously that is not great, but if Barkley did that instead of less than a tenth of a yard per carry, maybe they would have won.
Shurmur continues to run him inside the tackles, even Â
w/the 2nd stringers in No RPOs,no pitches, nothing to get Saquon in space. Tough for him to run when he's being tackled 2-3 yards behind scrimmage Shurmur doesn't see what happens during the game, but instead becomes a prisoner of his play sheet which may have looked good pre-game but needed to be adjusted. He doesn't know how!
I wonder where the bench Halapio and Solder crowd is too....
The backups were not good but you can't honestly say the starters are much better if any at all... I hope that's not what you're saying. Maybe with a week or 2 of practice with the 1's they would have played.... not good, but better than they did.
However, that's absolutely no excuse for Saquon's blocking. On both of Jones' fumbles, Barkley had piss poor block attempts on Jamal Adams. The one that led to the TD by Adams was embarrassingly bad.
Shurmur should've used Gallman more, but Pat is Pat. He's always going to do the stupid thing.
Think they need to take it to the endzone instead of gaining the 4 yards.
Ditto pass defense. Go for the pick 6 and you don't even get the PD, the wr gets the ball .
It's simply not credible that even this line would not be able to run block - had they been prepared and practiced to run block.its schematic mindlessness coupled with lack of practice reps on runs that work .

Against the Cowboys, he was killing them in the first game. He stopped playing. Now they're running him like he's fucking Erci Dickerson.
He does not look hurt to me, he looks like he just wants to dance and is being exposed his second year

We're going to ruin him like the Redskins ruined RG3.

Right here. It was still the right decision.

He told the sideline reporter that his ankle is getting better every week. That means he's hurt. End of story.
He may still be hurt, but he's getting too lateral and wasting time...
Hmm.
I wonder where the bench Halapio and Solder crowd is too....
You think hes been effective or good lately?
Not surprising at all.
People were supposed to see into the future and know he would be rushed back from a high ankle sprain?
My God, what a stupid post.
Not surprising at all.
In what way are you trying to argue that he was good player on the field today?
What an utterly stupid post.
Were people supposed to predict that he would be rushed back from a high ankle sprain?

The key to RB is to atleast have an average offensive line.

Even the toss play was somehow a toss up the middle.
What an utterly stupid post.

Yes dammit. And Gettleman was supposed to know Solder's play would fall off a cliff.

When just to take the short gains instead of dancing and looking to break one every play
But no back was gaining significant yardage with the OL.
